My stay at the Econo Lodge was a disappointing experience. The smell was unforgetable, it lingered through the entire hotel - from the front entrance, halls, elevator, and into our room. Once we finally entered the room it was extremely hot - the air was completely off. My roomate and I had to leave the hotel for two hours so we could cool off the room. The air was so thick in the room you couldn't breath. The bathroom was disgusting - used toilet paper rolls, the toilet wasn't flushed, and don't get me started on how unsanatary the shower looked. Breakfast was a joke - as if you could have really eaten with the horrible smell. Location was decent, only a few miles from downtown Chattanooga, which was pleasing - since we spent the majority of our time away from the roach motel. I would review this hotel on a scale of 1 - 5... a 5, and hope no one else has the horrible experience I had. Please pay the extra dollar and be comfortable and sanatary.

Great staff. 3rd floor was very warm, AC wasnot working well. Great for a stop along the way. The room was very clean. The man who checked us in was very helpful and went above and beyond what was necessary to make our stay enjoyable. Ice machine and mini fridge - a definite plus! It would be great to have on each floor though. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The EconoLodge was a pleasant surprise. It is not a big hotel, but is conveniently located by the interstate. The non-smoking rooms were clean and did not smell of smoke (which many non-smoking rooms do). I would recommend it for the price and location.

Friendly, honest and helpful manager. No negatives to report. Very suitable as a place to sleep and have quick access to Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga Tenn.
