this place was filthy. the walls were stained. the comforter smelled. the shower floor rocked around the drain area. the air conditioning unit was busted. the location was ok because there are lots of strip malls really close. i am disappointed that i found this place on orbitz. but it was 80 dollars a night, and right on the highway. there were 15 channels and a tv that had a green tint all the time.

Nothing, it was very dirty with bugs in the sheets. The hotel was disgusting, there were bugs in the sheets, and eye lashes. I did not stay there.

The Lakewood Econolodge was a small room, old & outdated furnishings, uncomfortable beds and noisy.

Everything was very convenient. Nothing I didn't like. It was an easy check in and check out in a good location. Good for short trips.

this hotel was way overpriced for what was offered.the bathroom was not clean, there was mold in the shower that looked as if it hadn'T BEEN CLEANED IN A very long time. This hotel was way over priced.I stay a hotels all over the country and this one has to be the worst one that I or my family have stayed in the last 25 years.Very disappointed in the econo lodge gain.

Location was convenient. Room was filthy. Manager had to clean it himself and reduced the price. Young people were drinking, fighting and partying into the morning hours. Manager had to threaten that if they didn't quiet down they would be put out. Bed was made but hair was all over the bathroom. Drains were slow. Tub dirty. Floor dirty. We'll never use that hotel again.

Econolodge Lakewood was a comfortable place to stay at a very good price. Room was a nice size with a huge king size bed, also had separate sitting area. The bathroom was conveniently in 2 separate areas, one with a large vanity shelf/sink area. The installed hair dryer was not operable. I hope I'm remembering correctly that HBO TV and music channels were standard, but we had to ask the manager for the remote as sometimes they are lost or stolen. We also requested in advance and paid nothing extra to have a nice size microwave and refrigerator with freezer in our room, which were extremely useful. There are 2 floors and no elevator but since the steps are carpeted and wide it was relatively easy to move the luggage and stayed quiet. At first the room was musty smelling but that cleared easily with the fan and a/c that worked well. The office staff were friendly and accommodating to our requests. There were no other amenities at this hotel. We especially liked the neighborhood, as it seemed to be very safe and was well lit, even to walk at night. We were surrounded by churches and synagogues and there were always families walking about.

Nothing at all! The motel was dirty and the fire detector was missing from the room. The facility was run down, dirty and in need of repair. The bathroom had a large hole at the baseboard just opposite the toilet. You could see the crawlspace below the room. If you look up the motel on the internet, it states it is number 2 in Lakewood. I would hate to see who is number 3 and the number 1 motel, could not be much better by these standards.

Free coffee and juice. Room needed to be painted and bathroom was terrible. The hotel staff was friendly, the room needed to be painted. The wall paper was pealing off the walls. It just was not clean.

very easy to find, night staff was very helpful, and I would stay again if I am in the area.

We liked that it was easy to find. The room wasn't ready when we arrived the evening. In all the hotel was poor we wouldn't stay there again. I really felt that our room should have been ready by the time it was suppose to be.

the lakewood econolodge was an experience. most of the patrons were beach goers which made for good neighbors in the other rooms. but once it got dark, the streets got crazy. sirens and cops and gangs hanging out on the street all night. a friend drove by the motel around 930pm and saw all the activity outside. they wanted to find our room and save us.

Our experience at the Econo Lodge Lakewood was a good one for this class of hotel. Our room was simple, but clean and comfortable, and the plumbing, air conditioner, TV, etc. were all in good working order. The room met our expectations, but the staff far exceeded them! Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We definitely felt that it was a good value for the money, and would feel comfortable returning for another stay.

I didn't like anything about this hotel. Useless! A waste of my time and missed opportunities! I arrived on Thursday, the night I had made reservations for and my girlfriend and I waited over 40 minutes to get in and I never was able to! We had a wedding to attend. When I arrived the check-in desk was closed! I called countless times for directions and no one picked up! It took me forever to find the place, I'm not familiar with the area, so I have missed the very reason I was out there! I had to drive up and down trying to find another hotel which was 30 minutes away! That's two hours total that I spent because of this hotel! It would've been somewhat acceptable if someone placed a note on the door, so I knew what to do with myself in the time I spent waiting for no reason at all. Because of this hotel, I missed out on one of the most exciting times of my life.

This is the first hotel I ever stayed at that called the room , right at check out time and said it is time to check out NOW. This seemed very unfriendly to me... why not ask, as other places have....if i wanted to stay longer?? I will never stay at this hotel again, simply for that reason. On a more plesent note, the room was clean, check in smooth...not classy by any means...yet all in all was ok till time to go.

Nothing. Ice machine broken entire stay, used condom in room, asked to leave room at 11:01 a.m. and watched until we left. Terrible service, room not cleaned adequately, used condom in back of night table, mildew stains on bathroom ceiling. Found previous customers personal items and birth certificate.
