Police were there investigating suspicous activity upon my arrival. Had a hole in the wall, was not too sure of safety of area as three police cars were at the hotel when I arrived. Not a positive beginning.

Convenient location. Highway noise. Basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Easy to get to from highway.

We were a lttle shaky about this hotel from previous review. However the hotel room was at a good price. The room was very clean and the bathroom was clean. It had a refrigerator that was not advertised. The manager allowed us to check in early at 10:30am with a smile since we planned to spend the day at Kings Dominon theme park. Very close to park. only a few exits away. It is however on a back access road behind a truck stop. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family and friends if they did not want a pricey hotel. Continental breakfast could have been better.

Convenient. I liked the hotel. The hotel location. It is very convenient to stay at Kings Dominion. I will go again and stay at this hotel.

This place was filthy dirty, mold in the bathroom, ac didn't work, linen dingy, and no one spoke too much english. Where was the KFC? An utter disgrace to the Econo Lodge Corp.

It was close to our destination, King's Dominion. It was not well marked from the approach from the back.

This was the most nasty, filthy, disgusting place I have ever seen. The guy at the front desk was very nice; but; I wish he would have told me what kind of place it was. We checked in knowing the front didn't look soo great and when we rode around... there was furniture in the parking places, people in the pool smoking and so on... We immedetly went to turn in the key. Didn't see the room because I was scared to go in. Would not suggest this place to anyone.

Location was nice to Amusement Park. Needed money put into a lot of areas. For the price, I expected a little more. No internet in the room. The remote didn't work at first. Could hear the room next door yelling.

Great distance from resturants and 24 hour walmart. Needs Improvement on Outside. Dumpsters Overflowing terribly, lawn needs work, extra furniture sitting around, run down building next door and hotel sits behind a truck stop. Road needs repaving. Looks as if they are trying to remodel. The only thing wrong in the room was Cig burn in sheet and hole in bathroom door and shower curtain was way to short so water sprayed into the floor.

It was a place to sleep. It was dirty, noisy, smelled like smoke. It stunk.

"Horrible weather caused my family to have to find a place to stay and this hotel was right off the interstate. The rates were great for an unexpected stop. It took a while to check in because they had one person working in the tiny office. The rooms are very large and have a small refridgerator and safe which is nice. The room had an odd smell to it and the nice relaxing shower I was planning on taking became a passing thought when I saw the blackened grout and caulking. The tub looked very dirty. It was so disgusting, I had to pull the shower curtain so I didn't have to see it. "

They were very friendly. out dated, ac did not work well, not a very clean feeling in the room.

"The room was nice, only two things I noticed was the screen on the AC vent was broken, and there was a little wallpaper coming off the wall in the bathroom. Still a nice place to stay, and it's right off the Interstate, which is also nice."

Unbelievable room amenities (coffee maker & coffee, iron & board, microwave, fridge, and hair dryer). I had trouble finding it from the freeway exit. No sign where road in began by truck stop. It was clean and quiet. The room amenities were unbelievable for a simple inn, a coffee maker with coffee, an iron and board, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a hair dryer. The small outdoor swimming pool was open 24 hours. At check-in, the clerk made sure I knew about the unexpected simple breakfast, served for three hours in a cheerfully bright room.

This hotel was in a good location to go to Kings Dominion. The mirror was cracked and the bathroom was small. There was an overall good hotel for the money that was spent on the stay there.

Nothing. Smelled, unfriendly staff, rooms awful and unsafe for children, had paint chips all over rug. Terrible place to stay. Never again.
