I just needed a place to stay during a layover, and this hotel fit the bill. Free and very quick airport shuttle, restaurants on location, and a responsive staff. If you have a lot of luggage, make sure to ask for a ground floor room because the hotel doesn't have an elevator.

Close to the airport. ACdid not work. I ask for a non smoking room and received a smoker room. They did not have any other rooms.

Very good place to stay and close to Airport. Heard very little noise from planes. Hotel has a free shuttle bus which is very handy for getting to the bus service at the Airport, free Internet is also available. Would definately stay there again.

This hotel is old and while "recently renovated" it is cosmetic at the most superficial level and it is still an old smelly hotel. If you are adverse to carrying your bags don't go there. There is no elevator to get to the second floor and the stairways are narrow. There are stairs on the second floor to get to the rooms at the back of the second floor. The lobby reeks of cigarette smoke. They could not find my reservation either of the two nights 16 days apart. Will not use this hotel in future. Lots of options in the immediate area.

I couldn't help but read the negative review and wonder how it could of been possible? I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago on my way to a trip to Cuba, and I had a completely different experience! The front desk staff were very helpfull and friendly. The housekeeping staff worked very hard too. Unlike most hotels, this hotel had a warm, almost home away from home like, welcoming feel. The breakfast was small, but it was "free" and "continental" so who can complain? Overall my experience was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

A restful, friendly hotel close to the Toronto airport. The staff was very friendly and their shuttle service to and from the airport was friendly and super convenient.

They are actively renovating and making this older motel, nicer. The restaurant was closed for three days over a holiday weekend - was hard to find dinner as a result..

We stayed here based on the reviews I read and it's short distance to Terminal 3 at Pearson...big mistake! Upon entering the hotel you are bombarded with a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. Check in took 20 minutes for a prepaid reservation with no one else in line (they were trainning new staff). The room was old and showing it's age, the paint in the bathroom was coming off the ceiling in big chunks. The view from the room was a receiving door and dumspter. Be prepared to climb a ton of stairs with your luggage, we had 5 large bags so this was a real chore. The restaurants listed on this site are not on the premises that we could find, and it's not a large place so I doubt we missed anything (this is not a typical "hotel", it is more of an oldschool small town "motor inn"). There is a pub and a small cafe. Front desk staff failed to give us our voucher for continenal breakfast upon check in. We were asked for it at the restaurant in the a.m., so had to go back to the front desk and wait through a check-out line up to obtain. Breakfast consisted of extremely stale muffins, toast, coffee (no whitener available) and "Tang" drink mix. We later found out that the staff also failed to provide our airport shutlle pass, so back to the front desk...again!! It is not just close to terminal 3, but physically at the end of a very busy runway, so sleep is absolutely impossible unless you can somehow mentally block the noise. The shutlle was the only good point. It was ontime and a quick trip to the terminal.

I really enjoyed the meal on the Veranda. The smell of the hotel when we arrived was nice and it was so pretty on the inside. The woodwork was beautiful. Seemed like a jumping place if you want to party and a quiet place to sleep.

Great value, what a nice suprise. I needed a room by Pearson airport for the night but didnt feel like spending a lot, however , the Econo Lodge Inn was just great,Big clean, newly renovated rooms, good free breakfast and to top it all off it had a free airport shuttle and I was allowed to park my car there. For the money and comfort you cant beat this hotel.

A nice restaurant is part of the facility, and there is also a great pub attached. Not far from the airport, the international center, and only an express bus ride away from downtown Toronto and all of the sites.

This hotel's rate was so low, I had 2nd thoughts about booking. I thought it would be a nightmare when we got there, to my surprise, I received more than I paid for . It is a small hotel but they offer very personal service, the staff knows you by name and they go out of thier way to help you. Best customer service award from me.

Check-in was done very friendly. The receptionist gave me a voucher for the breakfast next morning starting at 6:30AM. When I went to the cafeteria on the morning, waited for 25 minutes, no kitchen staff showed up. More than a dozen guests including children came to the cafeteria for breakfast by 6:55 AM. Everyone including me was very disappointed by the no-show of the kitchen staff on that morning. So I left the hotel to go to the airport at 7AM. I was very disappointed by the management which did not have any provision to accommodate such a mishap.

After reading previous reviews I booked this hotel. It was clean and staff was friendly but that's where it ends. The room was cold. I had to call maintenence for heat. The bed was worn and rock hard. The shower peeled skin. The outlets were so old anything plugged in immediately fell out. Very little food options at continental breakfast. Not a good way to end a long drive.

Good place to stay if you are flying out of Toronto (Pearson). Not your typical Econolodge (better rooms, facilities and standards), full service resptaurant, etc. For an extra $30 (Candian) you can park there for up to 2 weeks, and take their shuttle to/ from the airport. Can't beat that!

"To be Honest I was not expecting much for the price I paid, but to my amazement the hotel is beautiful, extremely clean (I am a confessed clean freak), so much variety for food, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the location is unbeatable, I still cannot understand why this hotel is only 1 star ?, in my books it is a 5 star hotel with 10 star service and rooms !!!, I travel to Toronto quite often for business and I will never stay anywhere else, way to go Econo !!!!"
