This was a quick overnight stay with 2 adults and 1 teen. Room was clean. Easy walk to everything we wanted to do.

Very convenient location. Hot water did not last long and drain in tub was slow. The hotel was nice overall for the price we paid. For a quick weekend with a child, it was nice.

Only stayed one night, looked for a place in central downtown, and wanted a clean room. We got all of this at Econo Lodge. The room had a king bed with refridgerator and microwave, was clean and quiet. We were in the middle of downtown and walked everywhere we needed to go. Check-in was very easy as well as check-out! Would definately stay there again.

This is the 4th time that i've stayed at the EconoLodge in Gatlinburg and I am just as pleased with this stay as the first time I stayed there. The location could not be better, right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. It is within walking distance to virtually everything. This is an older property, but the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel as well as the friendliness of the staff is the reason I return every time I visit Gatlinburg. I've stayed at other locations in the city and this is by far my favorite place to stay. I recommend it to everyone who wants a great hotel in Gatlinburg.

Perfect location for walking downtown. Very great and perfect location. Our new favorite hotel in Gatlinburg! Will visit again!

Don't let price fool you. Excellent hotel - just clean, neat, friendly. Not a high end hotel. Excellent for walking to downtown - a SHORT block away. Just great!

Close to main strip andeasy to find. Poor WiFi signal. Would stay again.

I don't know if I got a bad room or what. I stayed here based on previous ratings and was very disappointed. The staff at the motel were excellent...very friendly. The location was exactly what I needed. My problem was with the room. When I first walked in, the smell was terrible. The room smelled of urine and "old". The carpet was so stained that I diidn't take my shoes off until I got into the bed. The toilet seat wasn't clean...I cleaned it myself. There was a damp, wrinkled washcloth hanging on the bar in the outer bathroom area. There are several great restaurants close by...highly recommend Puleos Grille. I won't stay here again because if the other rooms smell like that one I don't think I could stand it for another night. Beware of Room 208!

Location. No indoor pool. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was within walking distance of the strip but far enough away that it was not noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a great little balcony area great for sitting on in the evenings.

My boyfriend and I just returned from Gatlinburg, where we spent most of our time hiking in the park and walking the Parkway at night. The Econo Lodge Inn & Suites was the perfect location for us--just a very short walk from the Parkway at the corner where Ripleys Museum and the Space Needle are (so we were close to the heart of Gatlinburg) but it was also far enough to have peace and quiet when you needed it. Everything was as advertised except for the wi-fi acess. We were unable to connect from our room, so we had to go to the hotel lobby to access it. And as others have said, the continental breakfast consisted of two types of cereal, bread/toast, apple and orange juice, donuts and coffee which is usually suitable. If you want something a bit more healthy, you can pack your own food (as we did) or if you prefer, there are PLENTY of pancake houses and familiar fast food restaurants close like McDonalds, Wendy's, and Burger King that you can eat at--even pick it up and head to the Park to eat, if you'd like. We were definitely pleased with the hotel and will definitely stay there again. It's a value stay that doesn't make you feel like you sacrificed anything to stay at an economically friendly hotel.

Hotel location was convenient to attractions.

This was our first trip to Gaitlinburg. The location was great! Well within walking distance to all the shops and activities. The hotel itself needed remodeling in the bathroom area. The shower head was very low. Breakfast was not good. Doughnuts, cerel and toast. The pool was certainly never crowded, and it was far enough back that you had a little privacy when by the pool. I would suggest to get in the first building. We had a wonderful view of a dilapated building on the balcony. But on the other hand, we had a balcony. Great for when one smokes and the other doesn't. The Ramada is right next to this hotel as well. All in all, it was a good hotel for the money.

Quality andconvenient. Breakfast. The hotel was small, convenient location to center town, easy access to rooms, nice small pool, fairly clean. A simple pleasant place, but breakfast could be much better with something for people who care about their health.

"It was handy for us because the convention center was close. The room was nice. But the cleaning staff could use tweeking. They didn't do much with our room. Mainly just made the beds. They left some dirty towels in the room and failed twice to bring clean ones. I had to call the front desk and she brought me towels personally. We wasn't told anything about the hotel having a continental breakfast, and we couldn't find a anything close by that was serving breakfast. I would stay again, if I was going to be going to the convention center."

Location. No vending machines. No midnight snack attack available. The rooms are pretty standard, clean and comfortable. The location is terrific being just 1/2 block from the main street in Gatlinburg with all the restaurants, shopping and attractions.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect location in Gatlinburg. Clean rooms and a friendly staff made the trip very nice.

The location was in the heart of Gatlinburg , made walking easy! Communication, hard to understand and explain what was needed as had a little language barrier. It served its purpose, was located in an ideal location easy access to Gatlinburg. No, room service, if additional items were needed, you had to walk to office to get them, no service to rooms!

"Not a bad hotel, just very basic, no frills. Pool looked decent but the hotel is quite old. Stayed their 19 years ago and still looks the same. Just a block from downtown"

The convenience and style. The pool was green so we did not swim at all. It was a great experience. I would stay again.

"This hotel is in a great location. The customer service can definately improve. The front desk employees were very rude. The continetal breakfast was not much, just doughnuts and toast. The parking was limited, the hotel needs to add more parking. Overall this hotel is a good for the money"
