Friendly staff that helped us with any needs that we had.

Nothing. Pretty much everything. I was traveling to my nephew's college graduation so I knew rooms in the area would be at a premium. I paid for the room. When we got to the room it was small and thats okay. It was just two of us. But the room looked worn, and when we exposed the bed sheets they were a dingy white, bordering on brown. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke fortunately that didn't make it into the rooms. My wife called down for an extra towel and was told we would have to come and get it ourselves. There were not enough chairs in the breakfast area, people were spilled out into their tiny lobby which made checkout difficult. I really didn't expect much from this Hotel and I received less than I expected. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Our room appeared to be midway into a renovation that stopped. Plaster was repaired, and in progress, but not painted. The bathroom sink leaked; we told mgmt., they did nothing. It took at least 2 flushes for toilet to empty. The tub was not clean--hair in tub. Fixtures were dirty & dusty. Rug was not vaccumed in places--pieces of plaster on carpet where they were repairing wall. Moulding was missing. Spiders and cobwebs in corners by ceiling. Not what one would expect for the price charged.

I understand that budget hotels are not going to be the most well-kept but you should at least be able to expect your room to be clean. We stayed at this property twice (the first and last day of a trip) and both times the bathroom was very dirty with hair all over the place. Also the fixtures and tubs were falling apart in both rooms. They obviously are having rpoblems with their cleaning staff as I over heard multiple arguements. Definately would not recommend even though the location was perfect with easy access to a couple restaurants, a gas station and a nice neighborhood to walk around nearby.

The bed was comfy and everyone that I delt with spoke ENGLISH! The bathtub was nasty! Hall ways smelled. Easy access off the high way. Friendly front desk. Hallways were a bit smelly, bath tub was dirty and really needed to be replaced. The maids all spoke English and were friendly. Over all I would stay there again when traveling through.

I don't know what the other reviewers were expecting. The place was older, but clean. It had a very nice clean pool. It is easy to access from the Interstate. The front desk staff were courteous, and most were friendly.

The staff and even other guests were friendly. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at hotel. We found it refreshing that the staff remembered us after not being there in 2 months.

I read these reviews and hesitated, but this was the most reasonable with a pool so I tried it. Overall a good experience. Great pool, clean, most employees very nice. I don't know what others expected, but I thought this was a good experience at a good price.

Very tired. We were only told on arrival that there were over 100 young people coming for a college reunion that night. They were partying all night long and the police were called frequently. We got little sleep.

The hotel was filthy with dirty bathrooms and unvacumed rugs. Security is nil. Use caution as our credit card was charged twice.

Ice machine was not available on our floor and no snacks in vending machine.

"Hotel price was reasonable, the room was clean & the pool was nice. Our bathtub could have been cleaner looking, I think it was stained but it still looked pretty gross. "

Price. Too far from Downtown, smelly, old, outdated. The general location is good if you don't want to walk to Downtown. The motel is older and outdated.

Absolutely awful. Staff was rude.Dirty sheets on bed; staff would not remake bed; gave us wrong size sheets and told us to make bed ourselves; room stank of urine; carpet dirty and sticky;vending machines filthy and kept money with no product; refrig foul smelling; barking dog left alone in next room; GM obnoxious when we complained.

Location and friendly atmosphere. Nothing. Good location good continental breakfast good room facilities.

"Our room was clearly labeled non-smoking & yet residual ash was found in bathroom & smell of smoke was evident. I thought the room was overpriced. There was no telephone service in the room. I know it is the age of cell phones, but this is unacceptable. Please also clean up the exterior."

Cheap, decent bed, free wireless. Room was cold; bathroom was dirty and in poor condition. This is an old hotel. The room did not have the heat on when we checked in and it took 5 hours to reach a decent temperature. It was 48 degrees inside the room when we got there. The bed was new and was very nice. Everything else in the room was fine. The wireless was very slow but worked most of the time. It would not have been acceptable if this was a business trip. The bathroom was in poor condition. The shower head was worn out and most of the holes were clogged which made the pressure very high and somewhat uncomfortable. The paper holders were falling out of the wall. The last cleaning person left cigarette debris on the sink. This was supposed to be a non smoking room. We left it as found and the cleaning person who cleaned it between our stays cleaned it up. If there was no other place to stay, I would stay there again but I would look harder for a different place first.

I am a smoker and still hate a smoky room. The room reeked of smoke and they were unable to give us another room as they were full. Even in Atlantic City the bedrooms are smoke free! The staff was very polite but couln't help us.

It was very convenient to where we had to go. Nothing. The Econolodge was located in a very convenient spot off of I 80. The room was very clean and a nice size for four people to sleep.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
The price. Everything else. We left a complaint card for the hotel. It was dirty, very outdated; the staff was very lazy and rude on 2 separate occasions. Not willing to comply with a simple request or too busy to deal with a question. The only positive things I can say about this hotel is the easy on/off to freeway and the price. You get what you pay for.
