Date of Stay:
July, 2009
Stayed 3 nights and saved some cash on the cost of the hotel. The room met my needs and the mini fridge, coffe maker and friendly management was an extra plus. The room was clean and right next door to various shopping and restaurant locations. Yes, would stay again.

Friendly employees. Did not have room ready on arrival. Would not change it without extra charges. Shower in this room was virtually unusable. I had to Mcguyver it into a position to use. Grounds were well maintained and front desk responded quickly each time I called. Blanket on the bed was tattered and the pillows were light foam. Small fridge was a nice surprise, Microwave too.

I never ended up staying the night at this place. Why? It was because by just pulling up and getting out of my car I felt extremely uncomfortable with my surroundings. It was dirty and there were several people (guests?) sitting out on the sidewalk. I walked into the lobby and right back out; I found another place to stay down the road. Sacrificing one prepaid night for my own peace-of-mind was not a difficult decision.

The Econo Lodge Holland is easy to get to, just off I475 in Toledo. It is a comfortable motel, always friendly check-in and very competitive rates. It has great business amenities like a free microwave and refrig when I do extended business trips. There is adquate space for hanging clothes and they always provide soap, shampoo and clean towels. They also provide a reclining chair and cable TV when I want to relax in the evening. There are numerous restaurants and stores within a short drive, less than 5 minutes. In the morning there is always a free continental breakfast with fresh hot coffee.

Decent location with a lot of amenities around the area. My door would open with out the key. Not a bad hotel. Had a problem with my door opening without a key. They then moved me into a smoking room. Finally got me into another room. After this, the stay was pleasant.

It's cheap, but not worth it. Rooms smelled funny and were dirty looking. Bathtub looked filthy, and I wouldn't even shower in it. Man running desk was rude. Sign in office said that rooms are cleaned every 2 days, if you need towels, bring your dirty ones to the desk and they'll exchange them for clean ones. That tell you what kind of hotel this is?

The Econo Lodge was very comfortable and because the rooms come with a refrigerator and microwave it is good for longer business stays. The management is always friendly and helpful. It is convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Nothing. Everything. This hotel wasextremely outdated, dark and dreary, stain on a sheet, just overall run down and disappointing.

The Econo-Lodge on East Mall Drive in Holland Ohio is located about fifty yards from busy railroad tracks and the trains ran through the night. I might have been able to sleep through the trains but the working girl next door was extremely noisy! Shady folks coming and going all night created an uneasy feeling. The shower curtain and shower were moldy, there was a portable heater with no base on the floor which seemed to me a fire hazard. The fridge was off and standing wide open upon entry. Items I had hoped to keep cold for breakfast in the morning had to be disposed of as I was unsure how long it might take the fridge to reach a safe level of cool.

Nothing. The room, the smell, the staff, lack of cleanliness. There was nothing I liked. Run, don't walk away from this hotel.

This was a very economical place for an extended stay. The room was clean and we were able to reach shopping areas, restaurants and relatives very quickly. We will definitely consider them for our next visit to Toledo area.

Close to interstate and shopping. This place was horrible, very poorly maintained. I had black mold in my bathroom. The cover of the exhaust fan was hanging loose.

The hotel allowed me early check-in. The staff was courteous and helpful. It had easy access to the freeways and major places to visit. There were good restaurants nearby. It was a pleasant stay.

The affordability of the rooms and the location. The unclean rooms and matted and stained carpet. Mildew and peeling wall paper. This is a good hotel if you aren't going to be in your room allot. Don't expect the rooms to be clean on the first floor, your best bet is the second floor. The beds sit up higher and it is generally cleaner up there. They don't have traditional housemaids. So when a lady with a shopping cart full of towels ask you if your checking out, she's not trying to con you, she works there. During the week the staff is good about keeping the room remotely clean but watch the weekends. Sometimes they skip over your room. You may want to bring your own cleaning supplies and blankets to be on the safe side.

NA. Everything! Room was run down, dirty, the breakfast was the worst we have ever see in any hotel.

Affordable and clean. Quick check in/out. Charged $6 extra for 2 beds. By train tracks. Breakfast was minimal. The Econolodge was a good economy stay. The property is hidden behind a mall, but is close to food and highway access. Train tracks pass right by the hotel, but only woke us once in the night. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was just very limited baked goods, fruit, sunny delight, and coffee. The staff was friendly. When we asked for two beds, the front desk clerk insisted in charging us $6 extra. He also had us in a smoking room.

Nothing. All thing, very bad motel, very poorly run, will never stay there. This motel is very poorly run, they do not care much for their guests. Cockroaches in the room and no food for continual breakfast. Will never stay there again.

Free access to the wireless Internet. Did not have any smell effects. Carpet could be replaced. Free access to the internet, close to shopping, dinning, highways and airport. Outdoor pool. Not bad for the economy class hotel.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
Staffs was helpful in moving me to another room. The free wireless internet did not work in more than one room. Convenient to interstates and helpful staff. Rooms are a little run down with repairs needed. The free wireless internet did not work in one room so I was moved to a second room and it did not work there. So, if you need to use the wireless internet, I would suggest another location.

Free breakfast. Breakfast provided, but was not very good. Location was hard to find. Front desk person was hard to understand. Room was clean. Pool was nice. Local restaurant did not accept traveler's checks.
