We traveled to Gatlinburg for July 4th. The locaction to view the fireworks was good. We could see most of them. The staff was very nice. We did book a non-smoking room and the rooms around ours were also non-smoking. Our neighbors however were not. They would sit outside and smoke and you could smell it in our room. The beds were not very comfortable. This is not a bad place for an overnight stay if you are not in your room much. We are not likely to stay here again because of the smoking issue.

I liked nothing! It was so nasty and smelly that we decided to drive home that same night. I could not make myself get into that nasty looking bed. The motel is not in a convenient location. It was dirty and had a bad smell. There was a huge crack around the door where you could see outside. The windows were also dirty. It was a loft that had been transformed into a motel room.

Stinky "non-smoking" run-down room, filthy carpet, stained bed sheets. Asked for bed sheets to be replaced, no staff available, had to do it ourselves. Terrible.

We were in town for a wedding that was just 1/2 block away and across the street. The of this facility location made it very convenient. This Econo Lodge has a number of eating establishments and entertainment choices within a easy walking distance. As stated, this is obviously one of the older motel on the street, but was very well kept up and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. These facts and the easy on the wallet price makes tis one of the better kept secrets in Gatlinburg. We will most likely stay there again on our next trip.

Was close to the downtown Gatlinburg area. It had an ant infestation. Wasn't pleased with this hotel. The staff wasn't at the top of their game. We didn't receive a breakfast voucher like the rest of the guest did. (Free continental Breakfast at a local restaurant because hotel doesn't have a dining area).

we had a great time in gatlinburg tn. our hotel was nice and clean. it was also close enough to main street gatlinburg that we didn't have to drive anywhere.

Nothing much to write about this hotel , it is an average accomodation where you can stay and save money which you can use towards other expenses at the trip , average hotel , has amenities as per the price , overall stay was good , staff was good and helpful everything was close by

Within walking distance of everything. Sliding shower doors did not slide nor stay on their tracks. We basically needed a place to "park" our belongings while we went hiking. The Econo Lodge worked great for us. We also thought the bed was more comfortable than other places we have stayed. If you're looking for just the basics at a reasonable price, this is a good place to stay. We will probably stay here again next year.

a mom and pop operation in downtown gatlinburg, circa 1960 drive-up motor lodge...very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, well-maintained, convenient. Pool for the kids but no other frills. No balcony views of the smokies but makes a good home base to come back to after a day in the Park. I'll stay there next year...
