The room was upstairs, with no elevator. Despite this, the hotel was exactly what we were looking for; perfect location in relationship to Galveston beaches and the main road, easy access, easy large parking lot, continental breakfast in the morning, and we called and were able to receive late check out. It was an excellent value for our money.

Over all the room and location was great...although the staff was not very friendly...rude...would be putting it nicely...any questions or concerns will be met after personal phone calls are over....if you are lucky the trash will not be placed directly in front of the stair well for the whole duration of your stay...as it was the whole time during our stay....the breakfast was ok but have had better......

Econolodge is 1 short block from seawall. Great place to stay for a low price. Only saw 2 cockroaches in the room escaping from the heat outside.
