Night security guard was a really nice guy. The pool was bad until they cleaned it the morning I left. The hotel was perfectly adequate. It was clean and quiet. Staff was nice, particularly the night security guard who was a really nice guy. The only two problems I had were that the shower could not be turned off. If the water was running the shower was on, and the swimming pool was bad until the morning I left when they had finally cleaned it.

I hac a very good experience there except that the toliet ran and the shower cleanliness wasn't up to my standard. The location was a bit much to access from across the road and the traffic in Fredericksburg is no joke. But overall I had a good experience and the breakfast in the morning was great just need to add meat and you will be great.

we stayed there with our children and it was messy. The bathroom need a total reno espec. the mold problem. The beds caused my husband and I had bad backs afterward. The hotel does NOT tell you that you have to pay for the safe until after they charge it to you.

The hotel met my expectations in that it was a basic place to sleep and hit the road again in the morning. The bed was comfortable enough.

There is mold in the bathrooms. The rooms are somewhat in disrepair. Our room was actually broken into - the interior lock was on and I ran outside to see what had happened. It was HOTEL EMPLOYEES that said "sorry, we were supposed to fix something in there, we didn't know you were there". The checkin employee was very friendly and pleasant and I enjoyed her. They need to scour and repair the rooms. Surprisingly, their free breakfest is quite nice and even features made to order eggs.

EconoLodge North was very disappointing. Room had bugs, bad odor and loud traffic noise. Changed room to another further from traffic w/o bugs. Bedding insufficient. Breakfast was filling but not to my liking.

Easy access to Interstate 95. Lack of cleanliness particularly outside the room. Ok for an enroute overnight.

Everything is find except the bathrooms are kind of nasty. There was mold on the drain.

We made the reservation the day before we arrived and our room was ready for us. Room was clean and had no problems while there.

Walking distance to Hooters. Thank You Bathroom clean but way too small. Perfect place if your passing through town and need somewhere to sleep.

Had reservations for 5/28. Arrived about 4:30pm & room was facing west, catching afternoon sun. Air-conditioning not on in room. Cut air conditioning on & left with group to go out for dinner expecting to return to cool room. Returned a few hours later, room was hot as ever & A/C not working. We complained to management & requested another room, they said we should have let them know sooner & would not move us to another room. You can bet that next year when we all go to DC for the Rolling Thunder bike parade that we won't be staying at this Econ Lodge.

Nice location off the main road. Buildings in very poor condition.

Arrived late, check-in was smooth. Great hot breakfast. Needs many renovations. Room was musty.Bedding was clean. Room was dust-free. AC worked great. Good parking for 26 Ft. Penske truck with car carriers. Hot breakfast was great. The staff was fantastic. Very close to the highway. I would stay again but would not stay more then one night. The room was too small for a full family. Minor renovations are in the works here but many are needed. Local police patrolled these grounds after 3 am which made me feel very safe knowing they would catch anyone fooling with vehicles. Thanks for a nice stay. Not one of my top ten but I would recommend one night stays, most definitely.

Location, hot breakfast. The room smelt like an ash tray. Good for quick overnight stay while traveling not to stay at for a vacation.

Cost. Old, dirty, run down. If all you need is a bed and a TV for a minimal cost, then this location serves its purpose, just make sure you keep the lights off. I would not recommend bringing children to the room as everything but the linens were old and dirty.

It was economical. It was difficult getting in and out of the hotel entrance. It is decent for the price. The rooms are a bit small but it comes with fridge, microwave, & coffee maker.

The woman who cooked my eggs. All. This place is a audit, should be restored, the room that I was supposed to stay was located the last at the back of the building, bad odor coming from as soon that we opened the door and the lights were not functional. We asked as soon for another, a bit better, bathroom and flooring ugly.

Absolutely nothing! Unsafe area! Deteriorating condition of building. The location is horrible! Very unsafe area. Staff was somewhat accommodating and friendly.
