Room was very clean and comfortable, but the small room size made it hard to pass one another just to get to the bathroom

The Econolodge was an ok hotel. It was in a convenient location of where my meeting was held. The outer appearance need some improvement. The hotel does not look appealing from the outside.One of the staff members wasn't too friendly. When I was in the room and call the front desk for assistance, I never could get anybody. The phone just rang and rang. The room was nice and clean.

Very friendly desk clerks. Bathrooms dirty; rooms smelled very bad. Rooms were dirty and smelled very bad; spreads and blankets looked dirty, tubs had hair in them, bathroom floors dirty. Literature in room wrinkled, torn, used over and over. It was difficult to get desk to answer phone. Room door had to be slammed to close. It would have been nice to have maps at the hotel of the area eateries and how to get to base.

Very close to Fort Jackson. Air conditioner was very noisy. Not bad for the price. Economy hotel, comfortable, clean room. Parking area could be larger. Overall, not bad.

The Econo Lodge at Columbia, SC was a very comfortable facility for the price. It's location relative to places to eat was very good and the variety of food selection was wonderful. I could have used a little larger work area, which I will ask for on my next visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very small but clean enought. The building is old and needs a lot of repairs and new furniture and carpet. We had to repair our window that would not lock. I wasn't expecting much and that's what I got. If you just need a place to sleep for a few hours it works.
