when I first arrived I knew I was not going to be happy. Guys where hanging out with no shirts on. People were visiting these guys with loud music. All night long I would hear doors slamming and cars arriving with loud music. I complained every night and I even said I would call the police. The front desk said that they had already called the police.

The price. It was cheap but for a good reason! Lobby smelled of smoke. Breakfast was a joke! What a pit! I would never stay there again. Breakfast consisted of old bagels and punch. Very old. Not maintained.

this hotel is very close to almost everything in this town. we had trouble connecting to the internet but the clerk helped us and here we go! the morning clerk helped us with directions and gave us more towels as we had to leave before they had to clean the room after the first day. we even got complimentary USA Today at breakfast. we will return us our family lives close to them. the last day we had to let the hot water to run for a while but everything was OK.

The only good experience was when I could check out. I would have never stayed there but my card was charged long before I got there and I didn't think they would have put the money back on the card. The electrical in the room was a fire hazzard with the wires connected by wire nuts and laying on the floor. large chunks of plaster were missing from the walls and I had to go the the office everytime I needed towels, staff never would leave them in the room. I was able to use my key card once without going to the office to have them swiped again.

Nice pool. A lot of highway workers lived there. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little hard. The pool area was very nice and clean. I would have been happier not having workers who lived there.

There were men standing along the railing outside our room. I felt very uncomfortable. There were cigarette holes in our comforter and blanks. The room did not have sufficient light. It was clean but the wallpaper in the bathroom had water stains and was wrinkled and loose from the wall. Not very appealing. The toilet was running.

Close to downtown, at a very cheap price. Not enough soap and shampoo etc. Convenient location, close to everything you need, including downtown and the casino.

our room was big, clean. i traveled with my 2 kids. breakfast was OK. i choose this hotel because of the pool. front desk clerk very polite and helpfull. i'll stay again!

The motel was not very good (obvious from the preceding survey answers). THE most disappointing aspect was Orbitz. I expect to run across motels like this one. Especially for the price we got and the location; we were on a business trip and this was the closest motel to the business we were visiting. However, the reason I use Orbitz is to ameliorate situations like this. Two things: 1) I would have thought Orbitz would not offer a motel like this or at least rate it better. Three stars was extremely generous. 2) And, related to that, be more honest with the reviews and descriptions (even the picture on the web site is very misleading). When I called Orbitz Customer Service the very first thing I was asked was, "Have you talked to the hotel management to solve the problem?" I replied, "no, that's why I use Orbitz." The agent was very polite and contrite, but, I felt, had no ability to do anything. She then put me on hold for several minutes while she tried to reach the motel manager. We finally decided to try later, BUT I'd have to call back and start the process all over! I walked downstairs, talked to the front desk manager and had our room changed. A little better situation. The bigger question is why should I use Orbitz anymore? I probably won't.

This place is a dump. Due to the loitering, I suspect that low income families live here. Young adults everywhere. Not family friendly at all. I would never take my kids here. I will pass on this hotel in the future. The room smelled and was musty. The towels had stains on them! The bed was lumpy. Not a great experience. This hotel is not a two star hotel. The picture does not reflect reality. This place is a dump.

It was awful, they couldnt find our reservation. They said they was full because of a wedding reception then found us a room which we had to pay for AGAIN even though we paid once thru orbitz and the room was filthy!

The size of the room was great. Repairs need to be done - i.e. painting. I would stay there again, it was comfortable and served my purpose.

The building was in poor repair, towels only enought for one, paid in advance to get a non smoking, 1st floor room, with fridge, not available, area did not appear safe. Ice machine was empty. We would not make a reservation there again. However the motel was sold out, so it fit the needs of a lot of working men.

The front desk help was friendly. The beds had dirty sheets and there were cob webs all over the room. Did not like my stay. Maybe if I was younger and had no kids with me this may have been okay.

We were greeted right away and given access to our room and given directions to places he new we would be needing to get to while staying in Evansville. We had never before been in the town of Evansville and so it was very helpful to get directions and prints of maps w/directions. Our room was clean and neat. I noticed only a couple of things that concerned me...the bed covers were very warn or had small holes in the linings of them on the underneath sides...something that probably would not bother me at home but when you go to a motel to stay the night, you expect things in your room to not look old and warn-out. Also, when I first pulled in the driveway, I almost left thinking maybe this was located in a bad part of town because the canvas over the entryway was ripped and blown apart & the metal it was attached to was bent and looked like someone had intentionally tried to tear it down and then left it there looking like it was ready to blow away in the wind. But, after going inside and speaking with the gentleman inside, I soon realized they had experienced a bad windstorm there the day or so before and that's what had destroyed the canvas entryway walkin area. He was so nice and helpful, my original fears of staying there soon dissipated and I felt we were in a safe area and would be fine. When we checked out of our room to leave, I spoke with a very nice lady. All the personnel were very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

They did try to fix the problem but really it was unfixable. Was not what we had ordered. The room was freezing, there was no pool or weight room, there was no couch, and the room smelled.

Room was clean and warm. Comfortable for the price it was good. Could have used closer ice machine and maybe vending machines
