For Christmas 2008, my family drove from St. Paul MN to Marble Falls TX and stayed at the Econo Lodge East, Wichita, Kansas (half way through our trip). We arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check-in. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to check-in early. I appreciated the friendly service.

Cost, ease of access, friendly staff. Nothing, met all expectations. Excellent budget stay. Staff friendly & helpful. Room & facility clean & neat. A+

Needed a place on east side of town that was convenient, comfortable and affordable. I got it here.

The Econo Lodge rooms were very small and really boring. The breakfast room had a table that sat only 2 people but they did have Krispy Creme donuts. It was close to all of our shopping that we wanted to do. I guess you could say you got what you paid for since it was an inexpensive room.

Very friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel for the budget conscious person or family that appreciates a friendly atmosphere.

We have stayed at this motel twice in the past 9 months and found it to be clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more friendly . They were very helpful when we asked directions to go eat and printed maps for us also. The breakfast was adequate. The worst problem was getting there as they are in the middle of a road construction project. The motel is older but very comfortable!!

Basically, we were not thrilled but bed was comfortable and linens were worn but clean. Room was very small and towels were thin. Hotel was older and had been beaten up by the public. Bathroom showed the most wear. Painting had been done over soiled and dented walls. Fixtures were old and worn but water was hot and plentiful. For a cheap night it was ok, surrounding area was less than welcoming.

Continental breakfast. Construction, construction workers andcleanliness. This hotel was under construction. I woke up in the morning to a saw and hammering. I was not the only one mad. Another guest found a screw in the parking lot and was furious! My room was not clean to the standards in which I prefer. I work for Marriott but unfortunately there were no vacancies for one night.

Wouldn't stay here again if last hotel on earth. Woke up with several bug bites on myself and family. Dregs of society stay in places like these.

Despite being located in a construction war zone making it a little tricky to access, the EconoLodge was a satisfactory place to overnight. The room was clean and well-appointed, and internet access a plus.

Road construction. The construction was very inconvenient. There was only one way into the motel and one way out, you had to go many blocks out of the way on a busy highway to get to the off ramp each time you left and arrived at the motel.

"This place is conveniently located, just off the highway, not too far from the airport, but it's really really a basic place. Fairly clean if worn bathroom fixtures, but the cockroach in my room was the big problem."

This EconoLodge property seems to suffer from poor traffic in a rundown neighborhood. The place itself is tired and threadbare and is badly in need of renovation.

Very nice. Old hotel.

This hotel is filfthy! Couldn't even take a shower. Not worth the money.

Great value! I got a smoking room but it didn't reek of cigarettes. The shower was probably the first and only one I've been in that didn't leak, had excellent spray, and didn't backup. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to call for help getting there because of some major construction but the gentleman was very patient and gave good directions. I'd definately stay there again.

The door had a second lock on it. It's all pretty horrible. All I have to say is there are a few shady people hanging out there.

"receptionist doesn't respond if you say hi. then didn't get the room I booked online. people are drunk, screaming in the hotel. no body will stop them. didn't sleep. this is definetly the worst experience in my life. if u want to be safe and sleep don't go there"

The Econo Lodge Wichita was not what I excected. The room was small, and difficult to move around. The floor in the bathroom needs replacing, the soap holder in the shower was missing was missing tile. The room did not feel like it was clean. We did not sleep well, as we heard noise well into the night hours. It was not near any restaurants.

Conveniently located to downtown Wichita. Hard to find the exit off Kellogg st. to exit on frontage road. Lots of construction going on. Poor sign and lighting on exit off ramp. Good and simple breakfast. Good TV. Had trouble getting notebook computer going. Nice flowers and grounds, but very near construction of Kellogg. Not much parking.
