This hotel was a good value for the price. It's in walking distance to the Convention Center and other downtown attractions, but I really appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport and downtown when the weather was bad. Hotel staff were very responsive to my needs.

The staff was really nice. The internet connection at the hotel was really bad.

Dingy and ""dirty"" don't begin to describe it. The beds are beyond horrible. Avoid it at all costs--for the price, you can do much, MUCH better."

The hotel charged my debit card for the room AND SO DID ORBITZ. I eventually received a refund from them. The room smelled, the bathroom was dirty and there were many, many homeless people near or around the property. Unsecure door locks.

Close to downtown. Did not feel safe. Did not feel safe. There was yelling and speeding cars. The rooms were renovated but not well, the shower had mold and holes in it. The power was turned off causing me to leave early.

If you can't sleep with trains going by, then don't stay here. The room was clean and ready for us. We could hear people out talking at night through the wall (the windows were closed), when we tried to fall asleep.

The Econolodge was very reasonable and clean. The train was a little loud at times, but didn't bother me. Would recommend

Decoration colors are attractive. No hot water at 6:30 in the morning. It pretty well met our needs.

This hotel was ok except for it is right near the train which went by like every hour and blew its horn 3 times each time. Continental breakfast was nice and leatherbys and red iguana restaurant were right next door. But train keeping us up all night was a real drawback. We only stayed one night fortunately.

Rooms had musty/mildewy smell & wet sticky floors.

Nothing. There isn't enough room here for me to detail all the problems at Econo lodge. Their continental breakfast ran out of coffee and goodies within the first half hour of the six am to nine am, window and those amenities were never refilled. That is just a couple of complaints I could list but they become redundant, suffice it to say I will never stay in an Econo lodge again.

The location. Do not replace soaps. If you're just going to sleep there, it's a great hotel.

The location and the fact that they gave us a ride to the bus station in their van. The TV and refrigerator/microwave couldn't both be going at one time--my son had to move the refrigerator to another outlet. I was going for economic room so I guess I got what I paid for.

Good location. Not enough amenities. Great location if you are into shopping and touring the temple.

Nothing-you should delete it from you listings. Everything. I wound up not staying here. The key card machine was broke and it took me 2 hours to get into my room at 1am! Then there was no heat and no hot water. As I was leaving there were 3 other people that were leaving their rooms as well.
Date of Stay:

Excellent location. Hotel is quite old rooms very small. Adequate place to stay if you don't have to stay in rooms long. It worked in our case because we just stayed there to sleep.

Location was okay. I didn't like the price of the motel for the location. Good for some not for me.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
Very good location. Too much noise and disturbance outside the room. Very good staff and location! Noise level needs to be controlled better after 11 pm.
Date of Stay:
April, 2007
Nothing. I was afraid for my safety. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is in a poor location for sleeping because of the trains and the questionable people present.
Date of Stay:
January, 2007
Location. Bed bugs. We found a nymph stage bed bug in our bed the first night. I told the staff and they cleaned our room thoroughly. We did not find any other bugs during the remainder of our stay, but I will not go back. I've never seen a bed bug, so had to come home and look it up on the 'net. Definitely a bed bug.
