Seemed to be for college and working class kids, wanting a place to stay near downtown Ottawa to party. Just verging on a rough part of town. Lots of beer bottles visible through the windows of some of the guest's rooms. Marginal conti breakfast. Starts at 7am, too late for anyone with serious business to do in the city. Just a bunch of pastries and Cheerios really. Asked for taxis on two occassions, 0645 one day and 0330 the next day. Neither of them was called for me despite my pre-arranging. The night guy 'forgot' both times. I was able to easily flag one however.

Fast internet. Free breakfast. Didn't seem to be very safe. No fridge available. Good for the price. Further than I thought from downtown but very fast internet.

The outside was nothing special but once we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and I was able to park close to my door. The staff were friendly and helpful, they suggested great places to take the kids. I was able to get my work done while my family played tourist. The breakfast was ok; we were able to walk to "the Market" for dinner. I only wish they had a pool. Overall our stay was a good mix of comfort and price for a family of 4. We'll be back here in winter to skate on the canal.

No air conditioning, breakfast week, room was pretty run down. Internet (wifi) was great though.

Excellent location and room came with refrigerator. It was very noisy at night. I wasn't too happy the first night of our stay. The bed was hard. The pillows were soft. The noise of the other guests hanging out on the balconies kept us up. The room I was in was next to the stairwell and ice machine. Guests coming in and out, ice machine water valve kept turning on every 22 seconds and kept us up. Thank goodness we were too exhausted the next night for these issues to bother us.Next time we are in Ottawa, I'll spend the extra $40-50 per night for more upgraded accommodations.

This place was disgusting, the bathroom was not clean, and there were faeces on the toilet seat and hairs in the towels. The bathroom was not big enough to swing a cat in, the overall room was small and the area of town it was in was bad. We had booked for 7 nights there but after one night in hell I was ringing every other hotel in Ottawa begging for a room. Eventually stayed at another hotel, which was the same price per room per night, was 100 times better and was clean.

Very convenient location (5 min walk to downtown), plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around, bus near the entrance. Quiet, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Bad note: furniture a little worn out, 2 drawers broken, air-condition too noisy, wireless internet signal too weak and often loose the connection. About what you would expect for the price.

Only one thing: Close to Ottawa downtown. Hotel service and surroundings. I talked to three different people, one was very helpful. 2nd one was OK. Third one (who spoke French mostly) was the worst one. His attitude only made sure that I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Even though we stayed there one night, it was great. Family-style housing makes these stays worth while: extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful staff that tipped us off for great entertainment and clear directions. The rooms were nothing spiffy, but extremely worth the money and WONDERFUL location. Would absolutely stay there again.

Good/free parking facility, free WiFi, decent location, and cheap room. Located in a very sketchy part of town, next to a mission, lots of homeless people around.

Pick any other motel or hotel in the area. This place was a dump. I should have stayed in the mission.

Free parking, free breakfast and walking distance to downtown. The motel room was extremely clean. We all enjoyed the free continental breakfast. The variety of food was much better than I expected. I certainly would stay at this motel again. The free internet service, the television channels, microwave and coffee maker were an added bonus.

This is an affordable place to stay in a convenient location. Staff were friendly, the place was clean and perfectly serviceable. The parking is free. It's no frills, but it's cheap and safe and perfectly fine if that's what you are looking for.

It was very dirty. It was very dirty. Would not ever stay there again.

Good place to sleep. We stayed there for my daughter’s convocation Carleton. My daughter and I stayed together. It was just what we needed.

"Nice, clean, friendly hotel. Close to everything. Not expensive."

Less than one mile or walking distance to the heart of downtown Ottawa. Breakfast isn't the best. Location is absolutely amazing. Restaurants (Korean, Lebanese, East Africa) right around it. Free parking and free wireless internet plus clean bed rooms and bath rooms, walking distance to downtown. What more can you ask for?

Location. Unfriendly staff, no service, poor condition. I won't stay in this hotel any more and the location is bit far form downtown; about 15-20minutes walking.

Convenient location, clean, and safe. Poor breakfast attention. Good for young groups, very convenient location, and good price.
