This hotel is the worst. The maid does not clean the room well, the front desk staff acts as if they do not want to be bothered. i had asked someone at the desk to make some more coffee and for some more waffles, I had to remind him again. i guess personal calls come first.

I, evidentially, was blinded by the stars when I thought this motel had a 4 1/2 rating. When I booked the room, the man on the phone was very kind and helpful, as was the young man who checked us in. However, the elevator smelled and definately needs updating. The bathroom needed updating, also, as well as a more thorough cleaning. It's very distasteful to find someone elses black hairs in the tub and on the tile. The king size bed was very comfortable. Also the refrig and micro were a nice surprise altho the refrig needed defrosting. Being able to park your car beneath protection was also a perk. In retrospect, I could've spent $10 more and stayed the nite in a much newer, cleaner motel...just down the street from this one. I would not return to this motel.

The Econo Lodge Downtown in Omaha, NE is a great place to stay if you are looking to be in the heart of the action without having to spend all of your money on the hotel. With the money I have saved on the three stays, we were able to eat out for every meal and visit the zoo (including taxi money!!) It was great to walk around and explore the immaculately clean downtown. Numerous resturants are in walking area.

Great location near downtown and quest center. Elevator needs to be updated.

For the Birkshire Hathaway weekend this hotel was acceptable, but the staff was short handed for a weekend.

Under cover parking for my car. To expensive to get to and from Air Port. Close to the elevator and freindly and clean.

The Econo Lodge Downtown of Omaha, NE was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The room smelled of smoke for a nonsmoking room, there were long dark hairs in the coffee cups and hairs in the sheets. I felt disgusted to even sleep there. My mom and I even went out to buy candles and febreeze to deodorize the stench in the room, however that failed. The location was in a very bad part of downtown Omaha, it was a little scary. However, the staff was very generous and friendly and extremely helpful. I believe I was overcharged for this room, however it was a roof over our heads! Not the most pleasant experience. This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, and I work in the hotel industry!!

Nice staff andgood location. Elevator is scary. I'm not sure why some people were so disatisfied with this hotel, sure, It's not exactly luxury. The front desk was very helpful and nice and I found the room to be totally satisfactory.

The lady at the front desk was amazing! She went well beyond her job to make the stay great! The room wasn't in the best shape. What the room lacked, the woman at the front desk made up for tenfold. She was amazing! If it wasn't for her I would not go back to that hotel, but because of her I would go only there. Plus, there was the added benefit a room in a good location. Plus, there was a great continental breakfast too. This hotel well exceeded my expectations!

Didn't really like anything. It was not clean and the rooms were not ready when we checked in. Do not like this motel. It was not very clean and it needs a lot of repairs done.

Clost to Quest Center. Very run down. The complimentary breakfast was disgusting and the hotel had a smoke scent even though the hotel was supposed to be non smoking.

Location was conveniently located. Easy to find. It was being remodel. Lacked security. The price was right. Clean room andfriendly staff.

Clean rooms. Hotel staff very bad, bad location. Had to wait ten minutes checking in because they had only one hotel staff and he kept taking phone calls even personal ones. Not very close to downtown. Twenty block walk uphill to get back to hotel was grueling. Not the best of neighborhoods.

Location is the only thing I liked. Service, facilities, smoke, staff not knowledgable or helpful. Staff had to map quest to tell me how to get to hotel, the place was very smoky even though we had a non-smoking room, staff would not bring towels to room, had to meet them down the hall to pick them up, never got wake up call, breakfast room smoke smelling-Not the quality I expected from EconoLodge/ or a 2 1/2 star hotel.

Exceeded expectations, great beds, nice continental breakfast, free convenient parking, nice staff. Non-smoking room had a strong smell of smoke, even as a designated non-smoking room. We arrived late and had to leave early. The woman, Joyce, at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. She found us a great place to eat and called to tell them we were coming. The continental breakfast was nice in a clean room. The beds were very comfortable, as was the room. The only negative was the strong smell of smoke in the non-smoking room. Parking was free and convenient in a safe well-lit spot. I have had much lower quality at 2 star hotels. I had never booked a one star hotel before and the Omaha Econolodge exceeded my expectations.

The night front desk clerk was great! Very helpful & accommodating. Quality of the room was poor. Non user friendly. Very basic, not many perks. The shower pressure was bad, if you were over 6 feet, you had to squat in the shower. The heater plug-in outlet was hanging out of the wall and could have easily electrocuted someone. The only positive was the front desk lady!! Very helpful and very professional!

Location is close to the entertainment arena. Overall it felt grungy. The entire hotel felt dirty. I appreciated the location, so we could walk to our event and not have to drive the car and find a parking space. If it weren't for that, I would never have stayed in this hotel. I'm glad that I brought my own set of sheets and a blanket. I'm just not sure how clean the rooms were after seeing how dirty the hallways were left.

Location. I was over charged. The people were friendly but that is all will not stay at another one unless I can see my room first.

Great for last minute stay. Room very clean. Outside area not so kept. Good location for what we came for. Room was very clean.
