The pool room was 60* (I looked at the thermostadt). The pool was 75* which might feel good on an 80* day. It was like ice in that 60* room. Just the oposite problem with the hot tub. It was set for the standard 104* but in a 60* room it was so hot that you couldnt stay in for more than 45 seconds. When I complained. They clearly didnt want to turn the heat up. The room was dirty. The room tub was moldy. Other than that all was good.

Staff was friendly. Pool was warm, location good. Room was dusty, with trash behind dresser, rusty water, bathroom in poor condition. This hotel definitely needed a good cleaning and a lot of paint. It was quiet and comfortable but the cleanliness was discouraging. Bathroom needed a lot of cleaning, stained walls, discolored grout, tub slip strips were coming up.

Nowhere did our reservation say that all double queen rooms are smoking, and then the staff was not helpful and even rude.

Stayed here after a Saturday night football game at Mizzou. Very clean and comfortable and a larger room than expected for an economy type motel. A little bit off the main highway (I70) but no problem finding it. A do-over!

Location. Hotel is in need of updating and cleaning. Hotel staff (morning) need to be more attentive to customer needs especially during breakfast hours (clean up, replenish supplies etc).

Requested Non-Smoking room. Room and hallways smelled of musty smoke. Room was dirty. Walls paper thin and rooms noisy. Hotel not very secure. Staff not very friendly.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. No complaints about the front desk staff. However, the cleanliness of the hotel room was unacceptable. I would not stay at this hotel again due to the condition of the room.

It was cheap. And the check in lady was cool. The pillows were extremely thin. Very uncomfortable bed.

I do not suggest this place in the least bit. Did half-truths about having internet access and no handicap rooms and then gave us a room as far away from an outside door as possible. Called the front desk when there was nothing for internet and was informed originally that there wasn't internet in smoking rooms. One computer up front where desk guy hung over my shoulder most of the time. Good point was the night desk clerk that closed up the lobby who said that there wasn't in any of the rooms. Only good part of the stay there was his politeness.

The EconoLodge Columbia was reasonably clean, good value for the money. I assumed that hi-speed internet was available in all the rooms, while it is only available in the lobby/dining area. I never did get hooked up to it even sitting in the lobby. I liked having the refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was lack-luster, I got fed and I've had worse is all i can say about that. There are tons of restaurants and shopping within a mile or two of the motel. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.

Non smoking room smelled worse than smoking room. Overall appearance was very low market. When we asked the front desk for a good steak restaurant we were informed they did not eat meat. The toilet had to be flushed manually. The heated pool was ice water and the whirlpool was so hot we could not use it. Our wakeup call came one hour prior to the time requested as did for several other guests.

The staff was friendly and theWi-Fi worked great. Vending machines were empty most of the time. The hotel was clean but the vending machines were empty most of the time.

"We accidentally left our digital camera at the hotel. The hotel claimed that they don't have it. Many broken windows in the pool area, making it impossible to swim indoors in the winter. The indoor pool was not heated (making it awful with the many broken windows with 30 degree temperature outside); the jets in the ""hot"" tub did not work, nor was the water warm in the ""hot"" tub. Very dirty rooms."

Really a little dated. No internet service at all or at any price. Management was polite and helpful.

We liked the continental breakfast. NA. This hotel surprised me. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was very convienant. The hotel was very basic with no frills. Aside from that, it was perfect for our needs. We just needed a clean, friendly, and safe place to sleep at night. It was a 5 minute drive to downtown and MIZZOU campus. The continental brekfast was great. It has hot and cold breakfast foods available. I entend on staying here in the future when I visit Columbia, Mo.

Price. The room was absolutely disgusting. I have pictures. We went to see Elton John in concert in Columbia. I booked the hotel in advance. All hotels were full when we got there. We dropped off out things and immediately left for the concert. Returned to hotel at 11:30pm. There were burn holes in the blanket. Cigarette ashes between the bed and night stand on the floor, a beam was coming off the wall. The walls were splattered with I don't know what, there was a 3 finger smear of what looked like blood on the wall by the bed, there was an ant on the wall, the bathroom ceiling was also splattered with something. Basically, I did not sleep all night. The room was filthy. Unfortunately, we didn't contact the manager before leaving, we needed to get home. But I do have pictures if you want them.

There was a swimming pool. Old. Our 1st room had rotten breakfast in it with bats flying around and smelled horrible. We were changed to another room in which I went to Wal-Mart and purchased Lysol and sprayed everything before we would stay. There were not many guests. The pool was okay but not a friendly place.

I liked that I was close to the door so I could come and go. It was all great. I would stay there again anytime I am there.
