Very nice room. Nothing. Iwould come back again.

Customer service was awesome. The "Continental Breakfast" was a joke. The orange juice was watered down, the apple juice tasted bad, They had a few bagels, and no cereal. The room was decent, nothing to complain about for the most part.

I was expecting a decent room based upon prior reviews. The hotel lived up to our expectations. The room was very clean. We only stayed overnight and we did not have time to check out the pool. The location was great. The hotel is a good value for the money spent. We will stay there again.

Was in a quiet location, and was aesthetically pleasing. Front parking was awkward for check in was awkward. But parking for room was fine. The room we stayed in was a typical room. Two double beds, dresser, fairly large TV, and a sitting table. A refrigerator was also provided. Bathroom was white from top to bottom, other than hard water stains on the faucet in the shower. Other's complained of a train, but I didn't hear it once. Also, we had neighbors and I never heard them. Maybe others are more sensitive to noise than we are. Overall it was a great hotel for the price.

You can't beat this place for the money. I saw all the positive feedback for this place so I decided to try it...glad I did. It's an old place so if the bathroom door doesn't line up perfectly or the hot water momentarily goes cold, take it in stride. The cleanliness and the new furniture and carpeting make this Econolodge a comfortable place and great value. It's very close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg and close enough to the Route 60 corridor, restaurants and entertainment are close-by. Use the money you save to go out to breakfast unless you don't mind toast, donuts, juice, cereal and coffee. It is a little off the beaten path and a little hidden but once you know where you are, that becomes a non-issue. Too cold to use the outdoor pool. Would definitely recommend the Colonial to families looking for a bargain.

I thought it was attractive and quaint. I would stay there again. Had to climb stairs to get to my room. I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet in appearance this was. Close to restaurants, and also close to the grocery store so that I could stock my fridge in the room. There was no iron or ironing board, but I asked at the desk and they gave me one. Oh, and the ice machine is in a scary place for a woman alone at night!

After one bad motel experience this summer I did some research before booking a motel for this trip. I had a different reservation at another hotel in the same area, but after reading that review on online travel website I canceled it, and I was pleased with the review on this motel. I was looking for a good deal with good qualtiy, this motel was just fine. Great job Econolodge!

Friendly staff andclean. A clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Only a few miles away from Busch Gardens, Ripley's museum, Colonel Williamsburg and other attractions.

We returned to this hotel for a second trip to Busch Gardens and Water Country. Hotel is very close to everything. Front desk/manager was very helpful with directions. Room was very clean. There were few amenities but that is to be expected at a 1star budget hotel. The breakfast could use a few additions. Only had two types of cereal, toast, muffins, bananas, juice, milk, and coffee. I think it is a good deal for the price and will continue to use it each time we go to Williamsburg.

It was suitable for someone just needing a clean place to sleep. Walls paper werethin with regards to noise. Got lost trying to find it. Not conveniently located as far as I can tell. Continental breakfast was a very small muffin. Very small cups of juice, toast, a banana and/or cereal (adequate). I could hear every movement of the persons next door and above me. I didn't check in until 1:00 am so it was quiet. I'm sure I woke up everyone.

I was not happy with the overall service. The hotel was hard to find and the directions and map given by Travel agent were terrible. While I was checking in, another person called trying to find the place. The rooms were dated at best, and the AC was not cold enough the first night. The clerk seemed clueless. When checking out, the manager tried to charge me for the extra person even though the clerk said it did not apply. The only virtue of this place was that it was cheap, and not very much of that!

The staff was polite and accommodating and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Could not always get internet in our room and the walls were a little thin. Our room and the public areas were clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The staff was nice and polite. I would definitely stay here again if I needed an inexpensive place to stay. The continental breakfast was limited but fresh and did the job which saved us money.

The right price for a short overnight stay. Continental breakfast was skimpy. The hotel was exactly what we expected for a budget price. We just needed a place for a short, overnight stay. It was clean, well maintained, and the staff was friendly.

Very clean room. Pillows smashed / room small. The hotel was about what I expected. The clerk did let us in our room earlier than check-in however he did not seem very happy about it. The room was very clean every day and we never had a problem with noise or anything else for that matter. The hotel is very close to everything, I would stay there again.

I found this room to be clean and comfortable at a great price!

Close to local attraction. Light fixtures did not work thin walls. Some of the light fixtures were not working, walls are generally thin and dont really have much of a breakfast (it's included). Horrible coffee. Also, it's really not walkalbe to Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg. Otherwise it's clean, close to local attractions, and will do if you just expect to have a place to sleep, and take a shower.

"Adequate for cost, including basic continental breakfast. Pillows are like rocks! Bring your own."

It was clean and met my expectations. No problem for short stay. Really small bathroom. Hard to find from the directions. It was clean and comfortable which are my priorities. The bathroom was really small which might be a problem for elderly or handicapped travelers. The continental breakfast was minimal. We were happy overall and will go back there.

everything was clean and everyone was friendly great value

Convenient to local attractions. Tissue paper walls. Ordinary conversations heard at 4 am. A budget motel that works for people who expect as such. The walls were almost nonexistent in terms of privacy. The party next door arrived at 4 am and although not raucous, I could clearly hear their conversations and they were speaking in conversational levels. Your call; budget or comfort.
