The staff was great and they treated us well. The dinind area was somewhat messy, but they WERE doing renovations! However, there was too much chlorine in the pool & hot tub! My daughters eyes and skin were burned by it! The room was very comfy and, most importantly, the air conditioner cooled the room & kept it at a comfortable temperature.

The Carthage Econo Lodge is located right at a higway exit. The downtown area is less that a couple minutes away. The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff did a very good job maintaining it during my stay. For some reason, they felt compelled to leave the air conditioner on during my absence. It was quite cold on several occasions when I returned to the room late at night. The other ammenities are acceptable, including the pool and the continental breakfast. Overall, it was quite 'Decent for the Price.'

Convenience; breakfast. When I returned, my bed wasn't made, trash emptied, not sure my towel was fresh. Looked like it just had been hung up again.
