I choose my hotels for the economy as I only sleep during layovers. The locations are not important to me, but the free airport shuttle and the reasonable price are. The EconoLodge on Virginia was satisfactory on both points. I did not take advantage of the pool, nor did I need any entertainment from the neighborhood so can't report. But if you are on a budget, or prefer to spend your money on other things as long a you have a good, clean bed...then this EconoLodge is a good choice.

Nothing. No room available, broken sheets with stain trash all over the room, and shower head falling. It is the worse hotel I ever seen. Doors locks are broken, rooms are trash, cigarette butts, stains on the wall, sheets not changed.

An affordable and convenient hotel near Atlanta's airport, where I had a pleasant stay during a one day transit in Atlanta.

There was a homeless man with all of his stuff in the lobby. I didn't take my shoes off because the carpets were disgusting. Although it was supposed to be a nonsmoking room, it smelled of smoke. The dry wall by the mini refrigerator was crumbling. I used the towels to cover the pillows so I could sleep, which I did with the light on. If it hadn't been so late (due to flight delays), I would not have stayed at all. There are better hotels for the same low price. I stayed one night and checked out in the morning.

the price was very reasonable and cheap. next time i'll spend more too be on the safe side. the staff was very very friendly and helpful. the location was great. i will say i will'nt stay at the econo lodge atlanta again.

Its close proximity to the airport and its price. Panhandled by 2 of 3 people I saw while checking in. Didn't feel safe at all after dark.

Dirty hallways, dirty elevator, room tiny a very bad smelling (heavy perfume and smoke in non-smoking room). Room cold and one tiny very worn blanket....air conditioner in-op. Just really really bad. Cheap rooms are one thing but this is not up to standards at all! I left after a few minutes and my clothes still smell!

The wirelessinternet was fast. The room in general. The staff was very friendly and it is in a convient location to the ATL Airport. But the bed was hard, TV had static on it, bathroom was small. The only thing we liked what the friendly staff member at check-in after that nothing was what we expected.

Omg where do I start??? I caught the shuttle from the airport, i knew something was up when i was the only one getting on it lol. I got to the hotel...er motel, and the guy behinf the desk walked to the back for 30-45 mins. had to prepay for my room..( who does that?) on the way to my room it was ghetto all around..... THE POOL YOU SEE IN THE THIRD PICTURE IS A LIE!!!! it was filled with about 2 feet of brown water lmao.. mind you i haven't seen my room yet.. i get in my room. it was extremly hot and the ac didnt work only a few channels worked, i went downstairs and he saidall the other rooms were filled.. even though walking along i see plenty of empty ones... my "white" towels were a dingy yellow.. i was scared to was my face. the toilet filled all the way up to flush like it was about to over flow...the bed was hard and the pillow smelt. all three of them. there was no plug by the bed to charge my phone, i had to lay on the end of the bed to talk and charge..which means i really need a blue tooth.. i wake up the mext morning and the water is cold.. i let it run for a while (we all know that it takes time to warm up) IT WAS COLDER! it took an hour to catch the shuttle back to the airport because they were in the back talking...glaad i didnt have a flight. and their " breakfast" was cold scrambled eggs.. and warm milk W/ SALTY BACON

Confirming what other's have said. The room was dirty, the girlfriend didn't want to put her head on the pillow. I mistakingly thought the was right at the airport but it was in a seedy neiborhood 10 mins away from the airport. There shuttle was broken, they made arrangements with a nearby hotel. First approach to the hotel was bad, the front automatic door was broken. I had to PREPAY for the room, who prepays at a hotel??? Don't stay here!

Upon check in there was no ice bucket or trash can or thermostsat control in the room. Also the ice machine on my floor was out of order. The next day the sheets had been removed but not replaced. after thirty minutes in the lobby trying to resolve the problem I had to move to another room. No offer was made for an upgrade or discount or apology for my inconvenience. The next morning upon checkout I asked for a discount and a receipt, but neither was given. I would not recomend this motel.

Overall ok for the price. Check in time was at 2 PM we arrived at 2:15 took over 1 1/2 hour for the room to be cleaned. The staff was not friendly at check in, took 1 1/2 hours to clean our room, it wasn't ready at the 2 PM check in, we had no towels and staff never brought any to the room. Check in clerks were fighting about shift change and money being short, so we had to wait in the lobby listening to them fight. Hotel guests were talking, singing, shouting in front of the rooms at all hours of the night, wall paper was thin, could hear the partying next door at 2 -3 AM.

new paint with heavy odors in the first room I had to ask for another and it took for ever to get the room (2 Hrs), no wireless connection in the room and no coffe machine like it says the sign outside and the room is not like in the picture. I had to get out one day before whith the room already paid untill the next day.Sorry guys there are better alternatives.

I thought I was getting value for my money instead it turned out that this place was a dump. My closet at home was bigger than the room, there were bugs on my bed and in the bathroom, the bed linen was old and torn, the lock was broken; people were noisy at all times of the night, and the building was old and outdated. It was a horrible experience. I'm sorry, but there is not one positive thing I can say about this hotel-- this is not a good value for the money. I would recommend to anyone to spend the extra twenty or thirty dollars to stay at a decent and safe place.

It was well located. Not very clean, air conditioning was lacking. It was ok for me as I was not traveling with my kids. The air conditioning was ok if left on high full time. The best thing about the hotel was the easy in and out access to the things I was doing in Atlanta.

"The very nature of the place will continue to run down if steps are not made to keep it as is or even improve. A very good local, but poor management."
