The Dimond Mall is also quite near. Lake Hood is directly across the street from this location. Lake Hood is the world’s largest seaplane base, and it’s possible to make a day of watching planes land and take off.

I like the location of the hotel and the rooms.

Just a quick over night stay. Was charged $50.00 for our small dog who is housebroke and didn't bark. Wifi connection was slower than dialup and took 2 hours to just download the email that I needed. Would NOT recommend staying here!

The person at the front desk tried to be very helpful. Many inconveniences no internet no ice room key did not work.

This hotel served us as an overnight connection to a cruise and was excellent for that purpose.

The staff appeared to be friendly. It was the last of the 70s hotels, it needs to be torn down. Don't bother, even if it is the cheapest, you won't sleep better at all.

Overnight stay for early morning business meeting nextday. Clean facility, friendly staff. Rooms are OK. Good value and convenient location for airport related business. Didn't use bar or restaurant.

I made reservations thru Orbitz. When we arrived at the motel, there was nobody at the fromt desk to assist us. There was a plackard on the desk advising us to go across the street to check in at a sister company. We did this. When we returned to the first motel, there was nobody to show us where our room was located. We had to search it out ourselves. The room was clean, beds firm and warm. The TV did not work and we did not know whom to call, so we just went to bed, talked, and went to sleep. Did not know who to call for a wake up call, woke up on our own. Had to go back across the street to check out. Also, the buffet breakfast was plentiful, hot, tasty and a good variety to choose from. The hostess was pleasant. Left without incident.

From the outside and in the hotel did not look too promising. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the room was wonderful. The beds were almost the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The room was large - plenty of room for 4 people. The bartender was VERY nice and attentive. The continental breakfast was delicious and hearty. All the staff members were personable. I think this hotel is the best kept secret value in Anchorage!
