This is a renovated motel with basic amenities. Rooms are small (especially for larger families) but clean. Pool was basic but clean. Breakfast was modest and area to eat in was very small. Staff is very friendly. If you are on a tight budget, this motel is a good bargain.

I chose this hotel based on other reviews, and I'm sorry I did. I was visiting my daughter at Knox college. I was charge 15 for my pet, much more than other hotels. That brought the budget price up to the same level as much nicer hotels. There was a burn hole in the "bedspread" in my non-smoking room. The "bedspread" was basically a large piece of finished cloth. Only one meager blanket per bed. The inn is adjacent to a large gas station. The pool was under repair, no notice given when reservation made.

I spent a week at the Econo Inn on a business trip. The staff was very hospitable, the rooms were spotless, and i slept like a baby. The indoor pool and fitness center were a huge plus! The business center was very useful as well. Loved the fact that the wireless internet was free. I recommend staying here.

I recommend this place to everyone and anyone who wants/needs a nice clean inexpensive room, likes friendly service, and wants to be close to everything in town. Their breakfast is as good, even better, than the 100 or more hotels. A definite place to stay when visiting Galesburg.

The beds were absolutely comfortable! I liked their fluffy pillows! The shower was even nice. I loved the location because it was in the heart of the city. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice and provided me with some of the things that I forgot to pack from home. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for THE place to stay while they are in Galesburg. Also, the price is VERY reasonable.
