What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 9:00am on weekdays and between 8:30am and 9:30am at the weekend. Guests are shown a breakfast menu to select from. This includes a wide range of cooked food, ranging from full English, through to smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or smoked salmon and cream cheese on bagel, with toast and croissant served with home made preserves to finish.
What transport is available to get around?: There is no bus service on our road, but we do have a good taxi firm we use. Whickham Village is a mile away and from there you can get buses to all points in the region. Metro Centre (shopping centre) is 15 minutes away and you can get train into Newcastle which links up with metro system which will take you to the coast, airport and all points west.
What can I do nearby?: We are located in very close proximity to several National Trust properties, there are lovely walks but we are also very close to Beamish Open Air Museum, Newcastle with all the museums, art galleries and music venues, as well as Hadrian's Wall and Durham Castle and Cathedral. There is also a golf course just over the road from us. The Northumberland coastline is only a short drive away.
