The rooms were very clean and the location was great, it was quiet at night. There was a guest laundry which was not expected and was excellent . The rooms were very dark and needed more lighting. Check in could have been more efficient, rooms should be ready before the ferries land. The location was excellent and the rooms clean but dark. The small restaurants in the immediate vicinity were excellent. The guest laundry was an added and unexpected plus, especially for those people who are kayaking and need dry clothes. I would recommend the hotel to others.

We had a great stay at Elements Hotel and Spa this past weekend. Don't believe any of the bad reviews out there! The hotel staff was very friendly and professional, the location is within walking distance to tons of great shopping and restaurants, and the massage we received at spa was heavenly! The shuttle even picked us up at the marina once our plane landed. Would have been nice if there was a continental breakfast offered but we found plenty of coffee shops close by that opened early. Great value for the money, especially since you will be enjoying the town during the day and only sleeping in the room at night.The hotel has been completely redone inside (new linens, wall color, bathroom vanity, shower head, carpet...etc). I was glad there was a large fan in the room because it was warm outside and there is no air conditioning provided in the rooms. The outside of the building is the only part of the hotel that hasn't been rennovated but the proximity to how close you are to downtown is well worth it. The best part of our trip by far-- our couples deep tissue massage at their spa!!!! *Highly recommended!!!!* Didn't try the pool or free beach bicycle rentals. As for if we would stay at Elements Hotel again... probably just because of the value.The room was luxurious (private balcony with a view, fireplace, hot tub in the middle of the room, free breakfast, very fancy & romantic!!) Although it was more expensive (* night for the cheapest room) I felt it was absolutely worth the extra . Dinner recommendations: Backdoor Kitchen (my favorite dining experience of the trip).

The hotel was exceptional. The staff was fun and accommodating. There was a very comfortable feel to the place and the newly decorated rooms were great - creatively decorated and the beds were luscious. There were many families there as well and they too seemed pleased. Loved it.

The Jacuzzi was great, although it could have been a little hotter. Breakfast was great. The refrigerator leaked a puddle 3 feet in diameter on the hard surface floor. Almost broke my neck. The layout was unique, private balcony was cool. Did not like having to go to the lobby to get ice. The fridge leaking was a hazard. Tried to get the fireplace to work and it didn't. Staff did not offer anything for the troubles I had in the room. I would still recommend the motel to other's but inform them of the problem's I experienced.
