This was a very unexpected stay and good time for us. It was a long drive and we decided last minute to add another room for the kids. The staff was very helpful in finding rooms close by. The kids had fun in the pool and the bowling alley. When we go back for the 4th of July we plan to stay there again.

Everything was great...especially room service and the spa. You HAVE to get a massage.

Spacious, away from traffic, pleasant surroundings, andgolf. Lengthy walks to rooms, no clear directions to rooms. This is an ideal place to chill between meetings out west of Chicago. The hotel is beautiful and secluded in the heart of the west suburbs. Hotel contains spa and has golf course. The rooms are spacious and clean.

My spouse and I had high expectations for this golf resort and spa, considering the AAA four-diamond rating advertised on its web site. After staying there, I wonder how long ago that award was given. The halls and rooms seemed a bit dingy and worn to us, and our balcony had flaking concrete on the floor. There was also pooled water on the balcony, which the desk staff said was from the previous night's rainstorm. Our towels had been laundered but still had black stains on them, as from mascara. Carpets had accumulated dust along the baseboards. On the up side, we found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. At our request, they quickly moved us from a room one floor above the parking lot to a higher floor with long views of the sunset over the treetops. Although the hotel web site touted its chef, the main floor restaurant (Burnham's) offered only a buffet on the Tuesday night we were there. We appreciated that the hostess invited us to take a look at the buffet. We looked, but didn't think the two hot dishes warranted the $21 tab, so we went elsewhere. We didn't golf or use the spa or pool; nor did we check out the meeting facilities, so probably didn't see what Eaglewood does best. All in all, we felt the room was merely an okay value for the $ rate we paid, compared to other chain hotels available in the western Chicago suburbs.

Great experience. Check in and out was efficient and friendly. The scenery is beautiful. I didn't get a chance to utilize the spa so I can't critique that. The bed was a bit to hard for my taste. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Do they bus people into this place???? The people that were staying there were nasty. We went to see the fireworks on Saturday and found people sitting around with outdoor fireplace (which is a bar / restaurant) bringing in their McDonalds and own beer. SInce when it that allowed? This place is nasty on the weekends and not safe in my mind. As an Itasca resident...I would like them to keep the dirt out of this facility and our neighborhood. Obvious they are huriting for business on the weekends.

This is the best deal I have had in the Chicago area. $80 for a 5 star class resort hotel complete with 18-hole golf course. The $38 business special include cart, club and 18-hole golf is a steal after 5pm. This hotel is originallly catered to corporate conference crowd. But I am sure the recent slow down trigger this great deal. Get it before it goes away.

Stayed there for company Christmas Party. Didn't know if that is business or pleasure. My only complaint was that they gave us a room so far from the lobby that I felt like I walked a mile to get to my car. The room was nice. Next time will check in early and request a closer room.

Very nice stay at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa. I highly recommend the resort. Very nice rooms, great view of the golf course from the 9th floor balcony. Restaurant had good food (pig roast and S'mors at the fire pit the night we where there). Staff very helpful and friendly. Price for golf was very reasonable and the course was in good shape considering the lack of rain in the area. (18 hole course plays short). The pool had a lap lane, jacuzzi and a large TV. Watched a movie while enjoying the water. Steam room and sauna in good shape. Also a bowling alley and fitness area. Recommend making reservations ahead of time for the spa. Some interesting activities where going on while we where here, golf cart parade and fishing. Over All a very nice stay!

Clean, roomy, helpful. Older televisions, entryway is quite a distance from elevators. We traveled with our 2 children and the hotel was really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The food was not any better than McDonalds and the service was about the same as Mcdonalds also. It was covered with employees that did not speak english. This is a 4 star resort.

I really enjoyed the view and the pool. The balcony had standing water on it.

"I was very dissappointed with this hotel, the room that was advertised as having a ""balcony ith a view"" actually had a ""patio and a parking lot. To get to the pool and fitness center you had to walk outside accross the parking lot, and the evening staff in the fitness center was very rude. "

Staff had the tendency to say retarded things at inappropriate times. We went to the restaurant for dinner and the waiter asked, if we were here with a group? My husband and I replied, no. Now mind you there wasn't any one in the place and therefore, we thought we needed reservations. We ate and during the hour that we were there no one else arrived. The meal was buffet style and there was plenty of food going to the flies. The sheets had stains on them and we didn't have a great view from our balcony.

Good location, well kept grounds. Far distance to location of room from the lobby, not enough entry exits to room location.
