Great location with helpful, friendly and multi-lingual staff. Beautifully restored hotel two minutes from La Fenice theatre. A water taxi from airport very worthwhile, with arrival right to hotel steps. Good, healthy continental break-fast, possibly less choice than some new 4 star hotels. Bar staff very obliging, good coffees with snacks, at very reasonable price. Will certainly recommend.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful, except a little hard to find. Fabulous staff and lovely clean room, spacious new bathrooms!

The hotel was in great location, extremely clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone going to Venice.

Excellent location, direct to door by water taxi from airport a big plus. Pleasant staff, would definitely stay here again.

This is a magnificent hotel as far as decoration is concerned, right in the centre of San Marco district. Everything is easily within reach on foot. There were some problems with the facilities provided. The minibar was out of order for one of my two days stay and I had to drink warm water while the day was pretty hot. The service didn't help a lot. Furthermore, I eventually paid extra for the 2 bottles of water I consumed from the minibar and I was pretty much disappointed. The breakfast buffet was average as far as variety is concerned but the quality was in high standards. Overall, a good choice if your stay is going to be short in Venice.

Hotel is in a very good location but difficult to find the first time if you are not familiar with Venice. I suggest contacting the hotel ahead of time for directions. (Or it would have been nice if hotel sent directions via e-mail upon booking since booking was electronic).
