Overview:

Situated near a variety of local beaches while remaining only a ten minute drive from Old Town, the Dubrovnik Apartments are ideally located right on Lapad Bay. The nearest beach is only a few steps from the accommodation. A number of restaurants are located within a short distance. There are also bars and coffee houses located nearby as well. Due to the close proximity to the beach, guests will be able to easily enjoy an array of water activities as well as boat excursions.

Hotel/airport transfers can be arranged through the Dubrovnik Apartments with prior notice. Public transportation is also available in the local area, including a local bus service that runs approximately every fifteen minutes.

Each of the units at the Dubrovnik Apartments features air conditioning, ironing boards, hair dryers, private baths, mini-bars, kitchenettes and televisions. Some of the units offer a sea view while others offer a view of the nearby pine forest.

Dubrovnik - July 09A fantastic location, extremely close to the beach and near local ameneties, bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Friendly staff, one slight problem the card machine wasn't working so had to pay in cash which meant a couple of trips to the cash point. Excellent apartment, with an outside jacuzzi and great area for sunbathing. There are a fer steps up to the room but only a problem when carrying up luggage on arrival so best to take 2 seperate bags rather than one case for 2 people, particularly if youo have a girlfriend/wife with plenty of shoes!Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

Great location and friendly peopleApartment in great location in Dubrovnik overlooking Lapad Bay with good swimming spots off the rocks plus close to good restaurants and bus stop (Old Town only 10 mins) People were very helpful and friendly and allowed us to store our bags and use loungers on last day before we left.

An earlier reviewer wrote that the owner does not speak English. In fact she does speak it at a reasonable level.It's easy to get to and from Dubrovnik by bus. Its 5-10 minutes walk to the bus stop and number 6 goes every 10 minutes, Buy tickets in any of the newsagents on the way - 8kn per traject - or 24hr tickets for 25kn at the bus stop on weekdays.The main beach, about 2 minutes walk, is very good for swimming.The Jacuzzi is great.There are only two minor problems.You have to carry your suitcases up several flights of steps - inevitable in this loacation - but the owner's son was there to help.Don't forget the key when you go out, as the access door to the appartments cannot be opened from outside without it, and there's no buzzer (because passers-by thought it amusing to ring it late at night). However, the owner will give you her and her son's phone numbers. Keep them with you, just-in-case!

Small family run series of appartments in good location overlooking bay, south facing, air con essential in summer months, DVD and audio equiped. Access is via steps from coastal path 500m walk from taxi dropoff, not suitable for ability access or those who are unable to climb steps, no vehicle access, but quite attractive area. 'Beaches' are pebbles but swiming access from coastal path OK (several concrete areas provided with access over rocks to deep water. Taxi pickup and droppoff included when staying more than 5 days, very useful.

This vacation apartment is located on a narrow pedestrian street (surfaced path) that runs right along the edge of the rocky coast line. Once there, it's wonderfully quiet and picturesque, even has a hot tub with a view. Just don't plan on driving up to the front door. The owner's son speaks English, but the owner does not. However, what she can not communicate in English, she makes up for in hospitality. If coming by car, recommend parking in the public lot on the water across the street from the Hotel Kommodor and walking along the coast in front of the Hotel Kompass. Grocery stores are just up the pedestrian street toward the center of Lapad.

The restuarant was clean and high Quality of food. But all has almost the same offer on the menu, maybe some boring. It was easy to get there because of the knowledge from the Taxidriver and large bus stop nearby. It was a peaceful part of the Dubrovnik.

Lovely appartments with great facilities including jacuzzi and steamroom. Right next to the sea in Lapad area. All apartments have balacony with view of the sea. Friendly staff too. A bargin for us (out of season though). A real treat to stay there after some other dodgy places in Croatia! Less family friendly as up lots of steps
