Dublin City University also has a large restaurant that seats 200 people and recently received the IASI (Irish Accommodation Standards) award. The campus itself is in the heart of Glasnevin, which hosts Ireland's Botanic Gardens. The Omni Shopping Centre and Omniplex Cinema are within walking distance. The famous GAA grounds of Croke Park, where hurling, international rugby and football and Irish football games are played every year, are a 25-minute walk away. The accommodation has been defined by some visitors as the finest university accommodation in Ireland. What are your breakfast options?: We do have a restaurant on campus where breakfast is served from 8:00 am - 10:30 am. There are numerous options for breakfast for you to choose from and prices vary.
What transport is available to get around?: Dublin Bus operates just outside the entrance of DCU, they go to many locations and go into the city centre frequently (generally every few minutes).
You may also get a taxi if you wish, we can call you one from campus reception.

There is a bus service that will bring you from the airport to just outside DCU. Bus Eireann launched the new service from Navan - Ratoath - Dunshaughlin - Dublin Airport - DCU. Details on the new 109A bus route are available in this website http://www.buseireann.ie.
What can I do nearby?: We have a bar called the Hub on campus. DCU is located in close proximity to the city centre where there are many shops and restaurants.
