We were in Austin to visit the campus, and although this is not particularly close to the campus, it was close enough. Soon after arriving we realized the toilet was backed up, and front desk acted very quickly to remedy the situation. The evening snack included spring rolls, wings, tostado chips, salsa, baked potatoes, melted cheese, and free drinks. The beds were comfortable with lots of comfy pillows, the hotel was fairly quiet, and in our 2 room suite we could hear zero noise from our bedroom. The staff was friendly, decor is suitably hotel appropriate. Our room card/key was required to enter the building and the parking lot as well. Having the 2 room suite with 2 double beds and 3 people was definitely worth the extra ~$30 for the night. We had plenty of room to relax, and while one slept in the bedroom, the rest of us could watch tv or talk in the front room. It would have been much less restful to be in a single room.

My daughter had a school function in Austin recently. The school booked rooms at the Drury Inn. It is convient to the Interstate. However, when we walked in it was like a flashback of 1977. This hotel needs major renovating. There was a brown cloth recliner in our room, a wood design panel type thing separating the vanity area from the beds, heavy material curtains, old furniture that smelled like rotten eggs when you opened the drawers and doors, brick wall, old pictures hanging over the bed and I could go on. However, this was nothing compared to the cliental this Hotel attracts. My daugher and I were scared to walk down the hallway, because, they would stand in the hallway with their liquor and stare at us as we walked by. Not to mention this Hotel has an Open Bar everyday for 2 hours. Their were scary people coming out from all of that '70s wood paneling. You just can't imagine unless you were there. This was not a safe enviroment from any purspective. I have a strong feeling that this sort of cliental and atmosphere happen there on a regular basis. Do not stay here if you want to feel safe and secure.

This was our second stay at this location. The first time we had a great suite (did not request it)and this time we had a room that was very dark and dated. The walls had brown paneling that look like something out of the 1960's but the price was not.

Enjoyed comfortable stay. Please improve the quality of bedsheets. Very pleasant experience. Not far from local attractions. Enjoyed the food. The staffs were very friendly.

despite travel agency telling me that the renovations were all complete..........they were not , however what little work remained did not pose an imposition. Beds were a bit lumpy for my taste, but rooms were clean and well kept. Free breakfasts and evening drinks and snacks are a nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpfull. All in all i would say this hotel is a good value for the price.

Amazing happy hour & breakfast buffet. This is a wonderful place to stay when in the Austin area. They have a secure parking lot. Their staff is friendly & courteous.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel has a good breakfast and the staff is super. We were assigned a room near the elevator, and fearing that it would be noisy, we asked to move. The staff was very accomodating and they moved us quickly and without question. Rooms were adequate, nothing fancy, but that was not what we were looking for. We would definitely stay there again.

The free happy hours/snacks and breakfast buffet were great perks. The floor smelled like it used to be a smoking floor.

The beds are fantastic and the hotel was extremely clean. The front desk staff was far from overly friendly. The beds are fantastic! The breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast I've had in years. The hotel is extremely clean. The only downfalls are that it's not easy to get to and the front desk staff was far from overly friendly.

Iloved the staff very nice friendly and knowledge about the city and how to get around. Ididn't like the breakfast very much, however it was nice for being free.I didn't like the bathrooms too small,I am medium size andI felt crammed in.I didn't get my wake up call. Overall,I enjoyed the room, stay, staff where awesome.
