The shower had hot and cold running water - only not at the same time. You either froze or risked getting scalded. Maid service missed our room 2 out of 7 days. Water in facility was turned off for several hours on 2 different days. The pool was not monitored and babies were swimming in diapers and other individuals not in proper bathing attire. Continental breakfast (bagels & blueberry muffins) was not worth the walk to the facility next door. We visit this area several times a year and this was by far the worst we have encountered. Plus the fact that someone ran into our car while parked in the lot -which was an extra charge??? Also, we paid extra for internet service which didn't work the majority of the time.

A lot of my family was there and I could visit with them. Upkeep of grounds failing. While the room was clean and contained what we needed the facility is dated. It is my understanding that the motel is bankrupt. No lights on by pool (they were there) or other areas. Sitting outside at night visiting was dark. Didn't know there was a daily parking fee when making reservations. Continental breakfast was all starch. Appreciated having laundry facilities right there.

The room had no balcony, and an obstructed one window view of the ocean. It was very dark in the room, as well. The cleanliness of the room was very poor. The maid NEVER brought any cleaning supplies. The beds were re-made, and towels left. That is the extent of the cleaning. The floors were never cleaned, and I have to tell you, I'm not sure the sheets were clean, on our arrival...UGH. The room, is very small, although there is a fridge and stove. The bathroom was very tiny, and not cleaned. The area itself was not too great, although the beach itself was very nice. I would definitely not go back there, and I would stay away from this area, in general . On the other hand, the hotel staff, next door, where we checked in, was friendly, and I didn't bother to complain, as we were only there 4 days, and I didn't see how the situation could possibly be remedied.

my husband and i decided to stay at this place from the description others left, well beware, there is no one and the desk after 5 pm, and kids doing what they pleased at the pool. i was told that the rooms had fridge, microwave and coffee maker-we got nothing but a room with 2 beds in it and that's it. we decided to upgrade the following morning, and to our disgust, we recieved a room that had a herd of cattle upstairs for neighbors. we could not enjoy the pool due to 50 kids in it and parents no where to be found. i will not stay here again

We rented the room for a day at the beach. It was cheaper then going to a theme park and we were able to cook our own food. We had an efficency right by the pool; it had a little enclosed porch and we were able to borrow a small grill. We also used the A/C to cool down and take naps during the day. The room and shower looked old but it was comfortable enough for a great beach day! The location was great and the beach and pool kept everyone entertained all day! We had kids from ages 7-20.

I liked the view I had of the ocean from my room. The room could have been cleaner and had more mordern furnisher. The hotel was not what I excepted, but it was near the beach, and the hotel staff was friendly.

We stayed here for 3 days.........thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Typical beach motel and a little outdated - as we expected. But - the pool was clean and overlooking a very nice clean beach. Staff was pleasant. I travel alot with my job and stay in 5 star hotels, but this is not priced like a five star hotel and is not a five star hotel. What it is as a very clean beach motel in a great location, with a friendly staff. I highly recommend.

We had an ocean view wit our own balcony. The rooms were not as clean as they could be, but they were not the worst we have stayed in. The cable was a little fuzzy, but we didn't go to the beach to watch TV. The breakfast was in the hotel next door and not all that wonderful, but the view made up for it. We had a great time and would stay here again because the price was so good.

Promised a queen bed but was given a room with two double beds. The pool is small and a little dirty. However, staff is friendly. The hotel is like the Daytona area in general, slightly dirty and low quality. Perfect examle of you get what you pay for.

Convenient & on beach. Office area not as attractive. Front of motel needed TLC. Our room was very large & had a full kitchen. The motel was right on the beach & the pool looked out onto the ocean.

This is an eclectic, charming little property. We used to go daytona when I was a child, and this little motel reminded me so much of those times with my family. The staff were great, and made us feel right at home. The beach was wonderful, and just what we needed to relax. The rooms are a bit dated, and could use some updates, but for the rate we paid, we were delighted. Quaint would be the best word to describe this little gem. Good location, and the staff are very helpful!

My husband and I had a very good time at Driftwood Resort. I was expecting to get a room with a balconey, so was a bit disappointed when we didn't get one, however the view from our room was beautiful. The hotel could use some repairs around the pool and the bed linens really should be replaced (lots of stains, but were clean). For the most part it was a great place to stay for the price.

This hotel was great for the money. It's an older hotel and things have not been updated in a while but the rooms were very clean and the staff were courteous. This hotel is definitely a place for families on a budget. It's quiet and the families staying there had been coming to this hotel for 15 + years.

I took my 2 children - ages 16 and 13, along with 2 of their friends-for a beach getaway. We wanted to relax and enjoy the ocean. This facitlity is older, but well worth the stay. The price was great and is pet friendly. There is PuttPutt Golf across the highway, which was an additional attraction for the kids. If you are a picky person, as far as requiring a new updated facililty, this may bot be the place for you. If you want to enjoy the beach, pool and family time, this location is Perfect!!

Once again, you get what you pay for. My wife through a fit, the toilett had poop stuck to the sides fo it! The room smelled like mildue and the floor was very dirty. The staff here go home at 5pm so there is noone to help. After a trip to Walmart for supplies my wife spent 2 hours cleaning before she would stay there. On the good side, the beds were soft(if you like that and I do) and the pool was rather clean and not like the sister hotel next door where you have to get your key after 5pm.

The hotel was older but very clean. Great location, close to everything. Pool was very nice, had kids toys to play with, hot tub was great along with the kiddie pool, the beach was right outside our door practically. Prices were very reasonable.

it was small, odd parking lot, not too easy to get out of but ok. the room was clean, and there was not a lot of noise from the road, it was nice for just getting away for a couple of nights. we didnt get a balcony but the room had a huge window to look out at the ocean.
