A vacation should be about relaxing and being taken care of. Five days at Dreams and I bet I heard the staff say to me, "it's my pleasure" over a hundred times when I said thank you. This was the best food I have ever had at an all inclusive, and Oceania was my favorite, although the egg white omelets from fresh eggs were outstanding at El Patio in the morning. The pools were perfect, the room was just like in the pictures, and the beach was soothing, although not really for swimming. Out only mistake was renting a car because we had no need to leave the hotel. The hotel has an airport shuttle and one to Los Cabos if you want to shop. We are already planning to go back. The place is not inexpensive, but it gives you everything you could ask for.

I've never stayed at an all-inclusive before but was interested in Dreams Los Cabos because it's easy to get to from CA (where I was traveling from) and because after a hard year, I thought it might be nice to have everything accessible to me (food, pool, activities, etc.). As all-inclusives go, I think Dreams Los Cabos *must* rank up there BUT for me, I found the generic feel of the resort (are we in Mexico? the Caribbean? Vegas?) a bit too artificial. Palm trees in the middle of a desert?? Also, the "free" alcohol invited a lot of frat-party type of behavior that can become very tiresome if you're over 30. I enjoyed two of the five restaurants in the resort but after a few days, got very tired of the same menu. The WORSE restaurants were the fanciest ones. Stay away from the Italian restaurant, Portofino (it has a formal dress code but the food was salty and mediocre), and the "Asian" one, Humitsu (if you've ever eaten real Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or Korean food - the mishmash of Asian-y food will disappoint. And I'm still not sure why cream cheese was such a large part of their menu!) The good stuff: the spa is wonderful. The service, overall, is wonderful though if you care at all about racial politics of labor, you may find yourself very uneasy about the whole place (and corporate tourism in 3rd world countries, in general). The hotel also tries very hard to keep its guests active - lots of activities from karaoke to beach walks are available. NB. One does NOT swim in the beach here! The tide is too strong and rough so don't expect beach time. Also, the sand is rocky and coarse. Very unpleasant to walk on. All swimming and laying out is really by the pool. There ARE cabanas on the beach but they were quite a bit less popular because the beach is pretty dismal.

The Dreams resort is BEAUTIFUL! The staff was very helpful and willing to do anything you asked of them. Our Deluxe Junior Suite was very nice. The room was always clean and the turn down service was great. Each day the resort gives their guests a newsletter letting you know of the next days events-that was great! The resort was fun but relaxing. The only problem we had was that we did not know of the dress code before packing for our trip. There are 5 restaurants at the resort and all have dress codes. Some aren't strict but one restaurant would not let us in because my husband had on shorts and sandals. We didn't think to pack dress pants for the hot weather in MEXICO. So if you go, make sure you pack closed toe shoes and pants. Orbitz could have done a better job of letting the travelers know of what the resort expects. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Our experience at the hotel was almost superb. We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed them all. The majority of the staff were very helpful and friendly. A few seemed gruff at first but they took good care of us. Our room was upgraded from a junior suite to a governers suite because I requested a room on a higher floor and they were unable to provide. The place was clean and the service was excellent. The place itself was beautiful; the pictures online do not do it justice. The only complaint I really have is the quality of the food. Most dishes were mediocre at best. A few were good though. Hint* If you want to get a poolside sunbed and shade by the big pool, get up early. They say "no saving seats" but they do not seem to enforce it. Overall, a great resort.

Staying at the Dreams Los Cabos Resort was like dying and going to heaven! It was so squeaky clean (I'm a germ-freak, I should know); the pool area was mopped frequently with bleach (thank you for that!). The staff acted as though they could not do enough for you and ALWAYS with a smile no less, no matter your demeanor or the situation, and finished every sentence with "it's a pleasure". For a New Yorker, this truly WAS bizarre behavior, but so appreciated....I regretted having to come home (no more smiles from strangers?) Truly I regret not being able to stay longer, but most of all I regret not hugging each and everyone of the employees for all of their hard work in the blistering heat from the housekeeping staff, to the Dreams Entertainment Team (goodness how fabulous they were!), and everyone in between. If I could have put them in a suitcase to bring them home with me I would! I think the only thing I had an issue with was the fact that the A/C constantly working day and night caused the bed linen to feel damp, but once I figured out the issue, I helped the environment and my linens by keeping the A/C off during the day (I was only in my room during the day to change clothes, which I did in 5 minutes flat, therefore, the A/C being on seemed like a waste). Truly this helped the problem and mother nature I'm sure. All in all, however, I loved the Dreams Los Cabos Resort, the staff, the food, the entertainment, the activities. They get a perfect 100 from me! I can't wait to go back!

Very impressed. We have stayed at other all-inclusive resorts, Dreams by far was the best! Great food, service, rooms, and activities. We would definatley recommend this to others traveling to Los Cabos! We didn't want to leave the resort.. they brought the shopping to us!

For the price paid per day on food the quality was not there. The hotel overall was great with incredible views and lots of great photo spots.

This resort was exactly what we wanted/needed. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after months of wedding planning. The pools were spectacular, the beach quiet and relaxing, and the staff very accomodating. The lunch menus at the restaurants were a bit sparce, but the food was delicious, so it's tough to complain even about that. All in all, this was a fantastic trip, and I will definitely be back.

This stay was such a great experience. The rooms were nice, the activities were fun and entertaining. We went to both sides of the city, and we wished we had stayed at the hotel for the day. They had good food and a romantic, fun experience. We would definitely go back.

Awesome variety of food at the restaurants, great drinks, and wonderful staff. Rooms were very clean and any extra needs were taken care of very promptly, with a follow-up call to us to confirm all was good...from extra water and hangers to having the noisy air conditioner made quiet. The grounds were excellently maintained and kept clean. Nightly activities were great. Loved being in the corridor as well, rather than in the heart of Cabo San Lucas. We totally loved it and will be back next year if at all possible.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Great room (though did upgrade at check-in), not too crowded, and good service. Room service took a while (average 45 min), but they did give us notice and you just had to plan accordingly. Good variety of cuisine - I believe there were 5 or 6 restaurants to choose from. No surprise charges at check-out, which was nice. This location is not good for those interested in the water. It was too rough/dangerous to swim at their beach.

The hotel was great! The room that we had was overlooking the beach (as most are) and you could see and hear the waves crashing. It was amazing. I wish that we would have spent more time there, 3 night is just not a lot of time, and there is so much to do. I would recommend the you take the snorkeling trip through the hotel, and take the Sunset Cruise to see the famous Arch, sealion, and Lovers Beach!

Very nice place to get away. NOT geared to young people. Staff is very accommodating
