Was so close to the nightlife so there was no point trying to sleep before 5am. Water came out of taps yellow. The alarm system was ringing constantly out of office hours which could be heard clearly from our room. The maid only came once in the week and only change the towels, mopped the bathroom floor and took our rubbish. Bedsheets didn't get changed at all. Room was clean on arrival and for £15 each for a week - it served its purpose. When first arrived the apartments were locked and the paperwork didn't tell us how to get our key. Finally found out from asking around.

nightmareSpacious clean apartment with lovely staff HOWEVER .....Building site workers WORK very HARD they start at 6.15 am and finish at 7.00pm. They work 7 days including holidays. The building site is 10 feet from the front door.Night clubs are on until 3.30 am and the rvellers leave the street at about 4.30 just before the bin men arrive. If you can sleep through the noise all day and like clubbing all night then this is the ideal place for you.

Life in PacevilleThe appartment block is on top of one club and across the street from another, music goes on until 5am and the building site kicks in at 7am. If you are a light sleeper take ear plugs. All amenities are close by and the pubs offer good value.This is a very lively area similar to Blackpool, prices are about the same too.The apartment was rather dated, but clean with good maid service. We had a problem obtaining the key on arrival, but just ask at any adjacent apartment block and they will tell you where to go. Everyone speaks English and are very friendly and helpful. At the moment the Dragonara apartments are extremely good value for money providing the noise doesn't bother you.

We spent about 15 minutes waiting for the key because the guy at the other hotel had no idea about our reservation. Room was very pour and heating was not working properly, but for the price we paid was good we only needed a place to sleep
