do not be fooled with the good location.... worst hotel experience ever. The lobby reeks of body odor... the pool is.... just hilarious... and the only security you have are the bars on the windows. HA The staff is also horrible. They forget to inform you at check in that locals are not allowed to stay in rooms and then kick you out at 2AM when you are 6 hours from home. It was the most ridiculous situation and hotel experience we have ever had to deal with. do not reccommend this HOLE to anyone. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Incredibly rude and incompetent staff, smelled horrible, disgusting rooms, bars around the hotel, etc. This was more like a prison than a motel. Not sure how they continue to get business. Laughable.

When you walk by the adjoining room at 1:00am and the partially clothed guests stare back at you from their open door, you know it is going to be a long night. The smell of urine was very prevalent and the paper thin walls made for poor sleep. The continental breakfast area doubles as a daily flea market. I was surprised that I was required to show ID to re-enter the hotel at night. The ideal location cannot overcome the basic deficiencies that we experienced. I would not recommend staying here, other lodging may be a bit more expensive, but would be worth it.

Rooms were fithy, hotel run down, worried about safety of car, door didn't shut properly, light fixture hanging off wall, weird staff, don't rent rooms to anyone living in western NC. Would NEVER think about staying here again.

The staff is horrible. Very rude and plain creepy. I've called managers/regional and get no response. I don't know how this place calls itself a Days Inn. DO NOT STAY HERE

"The front desk guy was nice, the hotel reaked of mildew and smoke! Scary front entrance and parking. Glad I survived the stay. Don't recommend to anyone!"

"Given that the alternatives in downtown Asheville cost at least 3X this much, I have to say that I've been satisfied with my stay both times. Downtown is so fun and so walkable, you won't be in your room that much anyway. For the price, it's the deal."

"This is a filthy, rundown, unsafe place with very rude employees. What could've been a nice visit to Asheville was ruined. Don't make the mistake we did."

"Go somewhere else. Stinky rooms, stinky water, dirty, horrible ""breakfast bar"", they even have really bad cheap coffee to go with the stinky water. They don't even have enough parking for the number of rooms."

"Unclean rooms, my hair stuck to the headboard of bed. Everything is dirty and broken. Water pressure, AC. Very scary place. Don't take your family here."

"This hotel is so convienent to the clubs, shopping and dining. It so needs to be cleaned, the lobby is hilarious, the elevator is shabby, the rooms are old and should be cleaned better, I always bring my own bedding when I travel as even the best hotels do not wash the bedspreads regularly. I bring Lysol spray as well and my own coffee pot with cups. This makes for a much more comfortable stay. The price is low for the location. We dont spend much time in the room so cannot see paying alot for a shower and a bed. We feel it is a reasonable place. If only for the location."
