The Erie hotel location was great for our stay as it was close to our family. The lobby was not very clean as it was under construction at the time and the pool was closed which would have been nice to know ahead of time. But our room outweighed these two negatives. I must say I was very very surprised at how clean the room was and it was a quiet stay. Looking back, the hotel was under remodeling so it wasn't as pretty on the outside but again, our room was very clean and we were pleased. We stayed about 4 days.

It was inexpensive. The bathroom in our room was moldy and gross. Inexpensive option for a place to sleep. Bathroom in our room was gross.

In town for a friend's wedding and stayed at this hotel. It was unfortunately not a pleasant experience. If it was 50 a night, I would stay here, but not for 109. Service was poor, and this was experienced by multiple guests, not just me. Nothing was done with complaints about noise. Save your and stay somewhere else!

when we got there they had a no pet policy orbitz siaid they were pet friendly that is why i booked it cost me more money to have my pet stay the pool was empty the rooms were not clean i would never stay here again or will i book with orbitz again

This was my first time stay at this motel and was quit better than I expected for an independent motel. I had stayed at other franchised hotels in the area but this offers more for the price. The staff was friendlier and the property was much better than other franchised hotels in the area. I wish the restaurant and bar was open. I would stay here again specially in summer to enjoy a very large swimming pool they have. The motel is in downtown area close to many restaurants and the lake.

The location was about the only thing that was good. Our room was freezing. We left and came back several hours later and it was still cold.

I used to stay here regularly years ago, last time was about six years ago. I can't believe how far this place has sunk in that time. The bathroom was pretty gross with black mold all around the tub. The shower head was almost totally plugged up with crud. The water was warm at best and quite turbid. The resturant was closed, this was probably fortunate. Worst of all in my mind the fire alarm went off about 6 am. We evacuated of course and when the fire department arrived I went to the lobby to see what was going on. The place was smokey but neither of the staff could actually speak english well enough to explain to the firemen so the firemen could not really figure out what was going on. I don't know if the staff really could not speak english or were just afraid of getting in trouble. The firemen concluded the staff had caused the problem by trying to cook something, burning it, then trying to shut off the fire alarm. After poking around some the fire department guys left and I turned in my key on the spot and was handed a bill. The bill was incorrect but I could not make the clerk understand what I was saying. He kept pointing to the bill saying something like " it on bill you pay" I will sleep in my car before I stay here again.

I went with my family including 3 kids. The staff was very friendly. The property is clean and room was veru clean and neat. My kids loved the free breakfast. It is an independent hotel but is much better than other franchise hotels I have stayed in this area. Would definately stay there again.

The hotel is really old and inside it smells as old. They are upgrading the very tiny pool they have so it didn't have water. The guys working on the pool did work on it until 10:30 pm, a little late most likely when our room was facing the pool and we were trying to relax. They specify that there is free wifi, it was impossible to get it, we changed the room to be closer to their modem, it kept not working while we selected that hotel for the convenience of having free internet. The complimentary breakfast was poor, they didn't have enough food for everybody, it is basically bagels (stinky ones literally) and orange juice/coffee. The room for the breakfast was dirty. The staff is friendly. It was not worth my $83 with taxes, a shame it felt like a crapy motel.

The room was not clean at all. While the room appeared to have been recently renovated, it seemed to be only a surface renovation. The bathroom did not seem to have been renovated. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The room was very unclean. The bathroom was dirty - I don't think they had cleaned behind the toilet in months. There was skum stuck on the sink and a stain on the carpet by the sink. The uncleanliness of the room made it very uncomfortable to be in.

This is an Independent Motel but is much better than I thought. The Property is old but is clean and neat. Room was picture perfect. The service was good. I and my kids had lot of fun in the Swiming pool.

Overall hotel is good. Swimming pool, excercise room. Surprisingly, continental breakfast was very good. They had coffie, tea, two kinds of juice, milk, hot and cold serial, pastry, bagels and even fruit.

The hotel is not in the best area. I felt uncomfortable staying there alone with two girls. I put the arm chair in front of the door for safety. The room was acceptable for the money except there was not hot water at all. I stayed two nights and neither night did we have hot water. The hotel is old and I understand that some things can't be helped like the cigarette burns on the bath tub, the stains in the carpet, the few amenities in the room. But one does expect to be able to take a hot shower. After the second night we moved to another hotel. My daughter however did enjoy the pool, and the staff allowed the pool to stay open an hour longer for her enjoyment.
