We are also within a short drive of many of Shropshire's wonderful tourist attractions not to mention Powys Castle and the Magnificent Welsh Hills just over the border. From the M54 westbound junction 6, take the third (3rd) exit (right) past the Wrekin Retail Park, (Tesco etc) and continue to the next big island. At this roundabout and at the next roundabout continue over following the signs for the Princess Royal Hospital. At the third (3rd) roundabout continue straight over and on to the next roundabout then turn left, first (1st) exit, just past the Travel Inn, follow the signs for Admaston. After the Pheasant Inn pub on your left, turn right at the crossroads into Bratton Road then take the first (1st) right on the raised road section. Dovecote Grange is 200 yards down on the left hand side.

Luxury b+b perfect getawayWonderful welcoming reception from the owners along with a cup of tea and biscuits bought to us just after our arrival. The room was simply decorated (no flowers or nik nacs!) with lots of extra touches including bathrobes, bubblebath, tea coffee hot choc etc etc. We arrived quite late so didn't explore the area too much but there are 2 pubs close by in walking distance. There was a big choice at breakfast and all freshly cooked.

Makes a very welcome change to the drab mass market alternatives. The owners were excellent from the get go and made you feel at home straight away! Great amenities and place was immaculate. Nearby pub that serves local ale and great home cooked food was an added bonus. Wifi access was unexpected and very useful.

I couldn't have asked for more: the owners were very friendly and helpful, the place was bright, clean and warm, nothing was too much trouble, and the price makes it really good value.

Excellent all round! A personalised customer focused experience. Warm welcome on arrival with a lovely cup of tea! Mandy and Paul made you feel at home. Paul arranged a taxi for my business trip straight away which was excellent service. Brilliant room with excellent facilities and big en-suite. Impressed with the organic and fair trade supplies. Really tasty home cooked breakfast too. Very clean with good furnishings. I would definately recommend DoveCote grange and if I am in the area again would definately stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful owners, breakfast served at the requested time ( early on Sunday morning ), within easy reach of M54 and Telford , set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the village. The pub is 5 minutes walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as did everyone in our party. Thank you Paul and Mandy.

excellent service, quality of room and facilitiesthe only issue was not due to the hotel - the lateroom address does not give the road name - only a postcode and my GPS took me to a place about 1/2 mile away - beware

This is a guest house that has a large lounge area, plenty of rooms and excellent service. I was treated to filter coffee on arrival, with a cooked breakfast, earlier than advertised, on departure. The room was clean and spacious with all the usual facilities. A library of DVD's in the lounge, with built in DVD players in the TV's in all the rooms, just added that extra touch. And the owners couldn't have been nicer if they tried! I would definately stay at Dovecote Grange again, and I would also recommend it to anyone travelling to the Telford area.
