Nice Hotel in a great locationEverything about our stay was exceptional-from the very friendly and helpful front desk staff to the really nice multi-head shower. The location was perfect for close access to transit and attractions. We did not sample the lunch/dinner offerings at the restaurant, but the buffet breakfast was very good. Some might consider the room a bit spartan, but it was comfortable and lacking nothing.

tired hotel!Overall a very disappointing stay. The toilet seat was broken. The window supports to keep the windows open were very difficult to move (required prying with a key). The room was hot and stuffy even with the window open due to no air conditioning. There was a considerable amount of noise from traffic and drunk pub-crawlers until late into the night (2-3 am). The front desk was unwilling to exchange any euros for pounds (not even a small amount). The door knob was loose and felt like it could be torn completely off with one hard tug. There was no other locking device on the door except for a flimsy chain lock.I will give credit where it is due: The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the food was pretty good. The staff in the bar/restaurant were very pleasant. Overall, it could have been a decent place except for the many overlooked details. Next time I am in Aberdeen, I will seek out a different place to stay.

Short Stay in AberdeenVery good accommodation and facilities in an old building - clean, friendly and helpful staff, central location (near to town centre, port and rail/bus stations). Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice served by attentive staff in a very pleasant Breakfast Room. The bars / restaurant were very comfortable with good service and quality food. Bedroom was adequate - bathroom very clean, TV lacked a good signal (poor picture) but the beds were comfortable. All round, I would stay there again and thoroughly recommend it, especially forshort breaks by rail / bus - don't know about car parking.

Dirty roomsI had 3 rooms and none of them was clean (and two were too noisy to sleep in). Also ate in the bar, not a good experience - rubber pancakes.

good value overallas the price of a normal single room was 140 pounds i saved a massive 180 pounds for 2 nights. cant complain. the hotel was lush, good service and decent home. my only gripe was that of the heater but when i called room service they promptly brought a makeshift heater. breakfast was yummy and distance to the station was perfect

Very central locationI spent the weekend with my sister, we flew from different parts of England. Caught a bus from the airport and were very pleased with the hotel's location, ie in between the bus station and M&S.The hotel was a good city centre hotel. The hotel receptionist was excellent recommending great restaurants and securing reservations.
