For the price, this hotel was great. Clean, rooms were updated and very nice for the price. I would stay there again.

There were many things those were not working properly in the room.

We had a room reservation onlinefor 4 people (2 adults, 2 children) in a room with 2 queen size beds, Mar. 5 -8, 2009. We arrived late at night. We were given a room with a King size bed. The manager said that was all that was left. He then placed my son and I in another room which was suppose to have a King size bed. When we arrived in the room, we discovered it was simply a gathering/hospitality room with an old sleeper sofa without bedding. Our family was placed together in a room. However, Double Tree must have downsized their beds: "Queen" is now "Full". We will not stay there again. This matter has never been resolved.

Even though it was only a one night stay, we were not overly impressed. We had to stay one night someplace, because we couldn't get into our other resort until the next day. Our room was not ready at 4:00 as promised, so they put us in another room. We had requested a non-smoking room and upon entering our room it smelled as though it were a smoking room. When we asked the front desk, they assured us that it was a non-smoking room. It did have a peculiar smell though. The resort is spread out quite a bit and we had to walk quite a distance from the lobby to our room. The pool was quiet and clean and also convenient to our room. The bellmen were very helpful in arranging transportation for us when we needed it. One plus is the location. Their shuttle service will take you free within a 2 mile radius ( Scottsdale Fashion Mall and even Old Town Scottsdale) if needed. Overall not a bad experience, but a little disappointed because of the Doubletree reputation.

We went for a clogging competition and had a enjoyable time. We went two years ago at the same resort and it brought back fond memories. We recommend this resort as it is very family friendly. Restaurant and room service prices are pricey compared to near by restuarants.

We've stayed at several Doubletree hotels in various cities. The overall quality is usually always very good- good service, clean comfortable rooms... Our room was a nice size, very comfortable, clean & quiet. There are two nice pools that are beautifully landscaped- only problem was the water was way too cold. We'd stay again unless we decide we want more things to do at the hotel itself. Location is good- lots to see & do up & dpown Scottsdale Rd.

Rest and relax. Two nites, for some reason we had bad neighbors. Great Staff, the parking spaces and room entrance could use cleaning and leaf blowing.

My Wife and I stayed stayed for three nights the hotel was very nice and well located. The only problem that we had was that housekeeping didn't leave soap or toilet paper we had to ask twice and the restaurant were a little pricey. Carl/Regina Cox Newark CALIFORNIA

The rooms are beautiful with impressive ceiling beams and great balconies over looking lush gardens. House keeping missed the room once but they remedied the situation asap. We loved this hotel especially for the price! The rooms were beautiful, classic, and the grounds make you forget you're in the middle of the desert.

My wife and I stayed here because I couldn't get a room in my convention hotel down the street. Once again, the Hilton Company has a lot of nerve calling this a resort. It was just another big hotel around a couple of pools. At 200-400/night they should offer something out of the ordinary. The room was a nice room, very spacious but not especially well appointed. Internet was cheaper than most at 9.99/day. The Business Center was free but just had four computers and a printer. The pools were small but comfortable but you go very little sun due to being in the center of the complex. One night Lou Dobbs was having some event at the hotel and it pretty much disrupted the guests with security, off-limit areas and they even shut the restaurant down until 8:30 PM which really ticked me off as we had planned to eat at EnFuego that evening and had to search out a place at the last minute. Parking was cramped and there always seemed to be semis or other delivery trucks in the way. Overall, a pretty plain hotel but hey, they give you an awesome chocolate chip cookie at check-in!!

No pool attendant overseeing very rowdy kids. It was fine. Pleasant staff. Clean. Seems like a retread of a much older resort. Very spread out. Had to walk a mile to my room. Which overlooked neighborhood back yards from the front door. Strange architecture. Cement pyramids everywhere. Seems you'd scrape yourself up badly if you stumbled.

We were not impressed with the treatment/service from the front desk staff. Were told upon check-in that we could not have a King Non-Smoking room despite the fact that I showed them the Confirmation email. Were told that it is not a guarantee and that they were booked solid. I explained that I had made my reservation over 2 months prior and our reservation should be honored. The clerk did not seem to care and gave us a handicapped smoking room which we found totally unacceptable, saying that was what they had. I asked to speak to the manager and, after waiting a long time, he ignored me by saying he would be right back and I finally gave up and left the lobby. This looks like it could have been a nice hotel, but we were given second class treatment as "Travelagent reservations". Extremely dissatisfied with poor service of front desk staff.

This hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and a fountain. The grounds were well kept and remarkably green for the middle of summer in this area of the desert. The buildings are built in such a manner as to give a sense detachment and individual privacy among guests. The hotel is one mile north of Old Town Clovis and has great shopping opportunites. Fine dining is abundent within a two mile radius.

Lovely resort, great price over summer low season. Great beds, great big fluffy towels, fun pool and quiet setting even though right on Scottsdale Rd. And those chocolate chip cookies....

The room was large, and I liked the balcony. It was also very quiet. The bathroom was very small. We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was large and very quiet. The cookies at check-in were nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
