Went to all the sites and went to the Nats Cubs game for the weekend. Overall, not a big fan of DC. finding a cab late at night is almost impossible. The hotel was nice, but got there for early check in on Saturday and said there weren't any rooms available after they told us it wouldn't be a problem to check in early when I called the day before. either way we went out to see the sites while waiting for our room and they were supposed to call. 3:30 no call and when we got back our room still wasn't ready. [...], the customer service lady upfront was rude and didn't care at all that she didn't contact us about the room. It took the night people to apologize and give us a comp for the breakfast. If you have to deal of the lady we dealt with. Be Aware.

Location near White House. Small bathroom. Very efficient in receiving us on check in, helpful with early check out and then returning later in the day for our car in valet parking, very friendly staff.

The hotel was nice and the people were very accomadating. The only bad thing was the bathroom was very small, but in the grand scheme of things it was a small inconvenience. I would defenitely go there again.

Arrived at the hotel a day early and in the morning, they were more then accommodating. Got into a room right then and there. Staff was all very polite and they even give you a warm cookie when you check in. room was very large with a plasma TV. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the DC and walking distance to the white house or to the night life scene at Adams Morgan. Also when checking out there is a complementary bag hold service which made the last day there very enjoyable.

An INCREDIBLE value! Hotel was absolutely 1st class although they were renovating while I was there. Staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was terrific.

Location great. Had dinner in the resturant, poor service and very loud. Next to bar. I did enjoy the crab cakes.. Room very small. If I go with husband will not stay there. Very small room.

The free cookie. Everything was broken; staff was entirely unhelpful. The desk chair, television, and internet connection in the room were broken. In the fitness center, which was only had 5 machines, 2 of them were broken. The hotel staff was unhelpful and completely unconcerned with the quality of my experience.

We joined many friends for a wedding. The wedding was grand fun; food and service was very good. Room was OK. We had two double beds, which were very comfortable. Bathroom was small. Location was was good. Easy access to Metro (5 blocks). We were able to check in early on Friday which was greatly appreciated.

We only had 2 days to spend in DC so we wanted to be close to all the sites. Our hotel was only 6 blocks from the White House. A lot of the sites were within walking distance of each other once you got to them. We walked everywhere the first day then took a cab home. The second day we tried the double decker tour bus. You're ticket included 3 different tour routes and also a night tour. You could stay on the bus and ride the route or get on and off when you're ready to. The only problem with that was finding a bus when you needed it. We did get to see places we would not have known to look for. Also, it would have been more economical to buy a 2 day pass.

"We were provided excellent service, a great rate, a wonderful room-could not have asked for more!"

Hotel was overall very nice. They've done a good job of keeping an older building in fresh and good shape. Restaurant and staff were both very good. Prices for meals were reasonable and food was excellent including roomservice. Within walking distance of the capital and monuments and embassy row among others. Also pretty close to the metro trains (within a half mile about). Room was clean and nice and nice bathroom. Hallway is narrow and room layout isn't great, but bed, desk, TV, shower, etc were all nice. Worth staying at.

Very friendly. Quick check in and check out. Spacious. Quiet at night. Tried calling the front desk a few times, no one answered. Very great spot to stay. Would stay there again, without a doubt. Friendly, quick, smart, knows the area. Didn't eat breakfast there, but it smelled delicious.

"I ran into some travel difficulties and had a very late arrival. The staff was excellent. The rooms were beautiful, roomy and comfy. The restaurant was reasonable and superb! All in all they made a difficult journey, my safe haven. "

We had a great time. Warm cookies greeted us with a friendly front-desk employee. Our room was spotless; I'm very picky about cleanliness, and this met my expectation! We would certainly go back again - even with our children. The restaurant food was delicious. One negative was that there was no pool or sauna.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The dinner menu and they did not have Versus on cable for the Stanley Cup Final. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom is extremely small, but it was fine. I thought the staff was excellent. The valet parking was a plus.

The hotel was very nice overall, the only thing was the bathroom was too small, compared to other hotels I have visited.

There are cockroaches in the hotel! There are cockroaches in the hotel, the staff seemed indifferent about it and after we pushed, they offered us another room, when they took us there, it was a smoking floor, and they try to deny it, finally after 1 hour they took us to a very small room where we stay for the rest of our stay, very disappointed, will never stay there again.
