Location. Noisy room, old TV, costly internet. When compared to other hotels on the Davidson Avenue corridor, the Doubletree is sorely lacking. It still is $10/night for internet (the only hotel in the area to charge for internet), the air conditioning system is very noisy, old TV, broken gym equipment and dated room interior. For what should be one of the top hotels in the area, I will gladly choose one of the other hotels on Davidson Avenue over this overpriced location.

Beds wereclean, power outlets wereaccessible, and clean. Water pressure wasweak one morning and internet wasnot free.

Very upscale,nice location. Nothing.

The room was gorgeous, and the bed was REALLY comfy. Water pressure was almost non-existent at times. I had never stayed at a Doubletree hotel, so I didn't really know what to expect. It's a part of the Hilton chain, and I've had some hits and misses with Hiltons. Appearance-wise, this hotel reminded me of a Wyndham. We stopped at this hotel after driving about 700 miles or so, and we had more miles to cover the next day, so we really only slept there. The water pressure in the shower had great variances, and it was impossible to get an elevator down when we were leaving. These problems lead me to believe you can dress a building up and make it look incredible, but it can still be disappointing in the end. One thing that was entirely fabulous, though, was the bed. It was so comfortable.

Tub would not drain, shower head did not work;TV was terrible; bathroom lighting was poor. I would not recommend this hotel. The television was dated and the sound was hard to understand (speakers blown). The bathroom lighting was too poor to shave. The shower head did not function properly. The tub did not drain.

It was clean. The girls at the front were not friendly. I will go back to that hotel again.

Beautiful grounds, very quiet in the rooms despite all the activity. Great bar. Air conditioner was very noisy and the bathroom was a little small. This hotel was very nice overall will definitely be staying there again.

Clean. Noisy heater goes on and off, bathroom freezing. Pretty lobby and nice countertops.

The hotel was clean, staff waseffective, did not have to ask for much. The location was good but strange, Internet access was $9.95 per day. I believe this was a high quality hotel, they quickly responded to any requests and the facilities were well maintained and staff was excellent. I thought that in-room internet access for $9.95 was steep, my feeling being that access should be part of the stay.

Lobby/entrance. Very unprofessional reception. Bad business, bad staff, terrible hotel experience. Stay away from this hotel if you can!

Normally excellent. I got stuck in a smoking room. The hotel in general is fine. However, I got stuck in a smoking room.

Spacious rooms w/ excellent layout, great gym, good restaurant/bar. They charge for internet. This is the best business travel hotel I¿ve stayed in, except for the fact that they charge for internet. Next to the bed and bathroom, the internet is the most important part of a hotel room. Charging extra for it is flat-out unethical.

Bed was very comfortable. Room service brought wine without a cork screw. I had to get dressed and leave my room to get someone to open it. Very nice hotel overall.

The housekeeping staff was pleasant and helpful. An important medical device was sent to us at hotel. They were warned but never told us. Old. Getting makeover but problems because of this. Some staff utterly incompetent, other staff helpful and competent. Amenities fine. Nor did they convey a telephone message left for us.

Overall hotel is nice. Maintenance broke into one of my colleges rooms while they were in the shower. Turns out they went to the wrong room but in doing so destroyed the lock on the door. Not exactly making you feel safe.

Attractive hotel in a lovely setting. Poor housekeeping - sheets not changed - hall filled with same dirty dishes for more than 24 hrs. Attractive hotel with nice amenities for a one week stay. Poor dining room service and food. Staff unable to set table and serve table properly. Floor room halls left with same dirty dishes, tables and chairs that belonged in conference rooms for days. A definite fire hazard. This is the only hotel that charges for Internet Service. Unable to access my own or local Y-Fi connects available at no charge to hotels in same area. They made unauthorized charges to my account. The charges were without proper billing disclosure and authorization procedures..

Good location. Music from bar too loud until 2 am. Great except for the music from the bar until 2 am.
