This hotel is quite clean and the rooms quite nice. But the restaurant service was chaotic at best. We were all asking who's in charge here because no one working in the restaurant had any idea. They were obviously overworked and did not function well.

We took the Super Shuttle from LAX. First stop was another hotel. We were in awe of the people getting out at this stop because the hotel was so "rich" looking. The first stop seemed so "tight" because the hotel was embedded in the city. We didn't know what to expect at Doubletree. Next stop was the Doubletree San Pedro. Oh my gosh, we felt so lucky! Everything was perfect. The room was clean and well appointed. The balcony was roomy and refreshing. The weather was fabulous. The hotel shuttle took up to a restaurant nearby and picked us up. The morning of our cruise, we have a wonderful buffet breakfast. I would recommend this place just because of the beautiful views. Looking out at the marina was breathtaking plus we saw our cruise ship arrive the next morning! Just try to get a room with a balcony.

Was only an overnight stay as I was on my way to another destination. The accomodations were very nice, quiet, clean and comfortable ... especially the bed. The staff was very welcoming and eager to please. The dining room atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was good and reasonably priced. I would definately stay at this hoet again. This hotel is near the pier/marina area. I chose this location as I was leaving on a cruise the next day. The hotel had free shuttle service that took me directly to the check in area of the ship.

Overall cleanliness. My wife has severe allergies therefore we told the chamber maid not to clean room. We want toiletries and coffee only added.

This hotel does not transport to Carnival Cruise lines terminal in Long Beach. I was misinformed when I called Doubletree San Pedro and asked about shuttle transportation. I was told that they provided it as a complementary service but failed to tell me that this did not include Carnival Cruise Lines (which I was sailing on!) I found the service efficient but not friendly. The dining room staff was very friendly and quick to resolve a problem I had with their white rice (which was terrible!). They resolved this matter quickly. The room was comfortable but the TV needed replacing as it had a terrible picture. It's a clean and safe location but not a 5 star hotel.

The wifi was free in the lobby and the parking did not cost a dime. There is nothing negative to report! The room was very clean! I was very impressed with the food. I had Chicken Marsala and enjoyed every bite - In fact it was so good that I ordered it the next day too.

This was a great location for Los Angeles cruise terminal. We had the marina view room and could see all the yachts moored and even see the cruise ship from the hotel and they have free shuttle to docks and very very friendly staff. Get the marina view room if you can. We stayed two nights before leaving on a cruise. All but one small incident with a waitress other staff was exceptional and they went out of their way to give directions, offered to keep our car and shuttle us to and from the ship. Rooms were perfect and the smell of the bay was intoxicating to fall asleep to.

This was a great location for Los Angeles cruise terminal. You can see the cruise ship from the hotel and they have free shuttle to docks and very very friendly staff. Get the marina view room if you can.

We stayed the night before leaving on a cruise. Staff was exceptional and they offered to keep our car and shuttle us to and from the ship. We were extremely satisfied EXCEPT for the construction going on in the hotel that created a lot of noise and dust. Sensitive guests should call first to see if construction is complete.

Very pleasant environment. It was not conveniently located for business. This hotel was adjacent the marina in San Pedro. It was clean, the staff was pleasant, and the rooms were comfortable.

Next to Los Angeles Harbor Yacht club. Food pretty expensive, need HD Televisions, hallways long and meander around hotel which makes for some confusion for some people. Lovely place to stay, though I'm there only 8 hours a day. Very clean, attractively decorated, and view rooms look to LA Harbor Yacht club. Large and comfortable main lobby.

Nice location on the marina. Small rooms, needs updating. The room was small, outdated, door didn't close properly unless it was slammed, window only opened a minute amount (so we could air out the smoky room), loud air conditioner on wall (motel 6 style).

Free parking while on my cruise. Great location & very clean & nice rooms. Especially liked the free parking while I was on my cruise. Imagine leaving a car for free for 7 days, saved me $12 per day on parking alone.
