Check in was quick and easy. Very friendly people and we were greeted with freshly baked large chocolate chippers for each family member! Yummy! The location is centrally located. Minutes away from downtown San Jose and approx. 30-40 min. from San Francisco. The entire family enjoyed themselves and we would stay there again.

Very nice. I would strongly recommend this hotel. The room was very spacious.

The front desk was very nice and room service was quick, it is a nice hotel. When ever i come back i would stay there again.

Our family stayed here for one night on the way home from a trip up the coast. After a full day of driving in the car, we needed a good night's sleep, and we got it here. The lobby and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly and quickly jumped to assist us with two requests. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. They had several different styles of pillows to suit everyone's preferences. The room was soundproofed very well and despite having the 101 freeway directly out our window, traffic noise was never an issue. We all slept very well. This was our first stay ever at a Doubletree but the whole family was impressed.

Our stay was very nice.....only negative was we had to pay for parking...that seemed unreasonable to us as we were already paying to stay at the hotel. Otherwise very nice!

Fair price, nice rooms. Parking expensive. Great hotel for the money. Good location for business traveler, not great location for leisure traveler.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a recent visit and the hotel charged extra for everything including the parking ($18 per night) and shuttle. The room and bathroom doors are squeaky and falling apart. The room was either too hot or too cold. The cleaning service didnt arrive until evening the next day. The quality of the room was not worth the amount I paid for it. Only a few things were within walking distance, therefore a rental car was necessary.

The room was great.. the clerks were awesome and helpful. The pool was clean, always available and the fitness center was one of the best I've seen anywhere. The food was rather pricey but I found several fast food areas and coffee shops within walking distance. I also found a light rail system within walking distance that took us to malls, shopping and other places easily. The light rail system was only a 3.50 for 8 hour tickets, a block away, clean, efficient and enjoyable. This Double Tree Hotel was an excellent experience.

This is a very nice hotel with lots of services. The rooms are very big and the balcony was awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Airport shuttle was great, lobby area was super comfortable and welcoming. Fitness center too small. For an older hotel it was great. Friendly staff, great location to airport, comfortable guest room. For joggers, try the river trail just a half mile away from the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and "yes" they do charge for parking but the overall accommodations are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is good, and most of the time the front desk staff is congenial and helpful. Out of a "five" possible I would rate them a consistent "4". Cons: They used to have a business center where you could print off your boarding passes. Now its all done in the lobby at a computer set up. So accordingly if you didn't bring your laptop, you do not have an accessible computer on site. There have also been a couple occasions when the front desk staff have been less than congenial but it is not the rule. Pros: If your room is as important to you as mine is to me, you'll really like the accommodations.

The pool was rented out to a private party company all day Sunday until 8PM with very loud music and young partiers everywhere. I was there for a gymnastics event at the convention center and wanted to have my 11 year old daughter and her friend come go for a swim between events but that was impossible. The mob was out of control--even for adults at the hotel, as evidenced by the four police cars out front when I got back to the hotel from the venue Sunday evening. Other patrons complained as they walked the halls. The room itself was fair. Parking availability and cost are a joke. The staff was marginal. All in all, a really poor experience.

Room service did not clean up trays left on floor in the morning in hallway till late evening. I would recommend the Hotel to others, i prefer the accommodations it provides better than some other 4 star hotels.

We checked in late. Hotel room was very clean. Beds so comfortable! And with plenty of pillows. Housekeeping comes early so remember to put the do not disturb sign out. Extended check out time with no problem with the front desk. Ample towels. Great location to many places. 2nd time we have stayed there. Pool has towels available, and is kept heated to a comfortable temp. Paid a little extra to stay on exec. floor with continental breakfast which is great. It does have a nice evening happy hour too but we missed it. Last time it was great. Fruits, cheese's wine other options for kids. Plan in advance for best prices!

We used this hotel as a base when we came in and out of California. Mineta San José International Airport is hell getting in and out of while under renovation. This hotel was literally two blocks from the heart of the airport and made catching our flight simple.

Close to airport. Had to pay for internet service in room. Room OK - not happy that I had to pay for internet- I can afford it but it irritates me that I had to pay - In cheaper hotels it's included.

I would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms were nice and the pool area is beautiful, but they charge 15 parking per night if you park yourself, and valet is even more. I am shocked and dismayed that a hotel of this caliber would do such a thing. Even if you book through travelocity be prepared to pay this charge as it is not included in the pernight price that you pay. Overall this hotel is not worth staying at

Great location if you want to be close to AP. However, hotel room felt like a masoleum. Carpet was dirty, furniture dirty and sheets were uncomfortable. They need more air conditioning in the room! Good for price and location ONLY.
