The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the restaurant staff was very attentive. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was very attractive, but the floor plan is sxetremely extended so bring your comfortable shoes for a convention. Food is average to good. Pool and exercise area are NICE! I was not happy that they did not honor my online travel website request to have a smoke-free room. However, the motel provided us with an Ozone machine which worked pretty well to clear the air...even out to the hallway, And we had it for the whole week to turn on at will at no extra cost. The online travel website conceded us a number to use for a $50.00 discount which will be nice for any future trip, but had the ozone machine not been available, my a-pap breathing machine would have been ruined and then it would not have been near enough. Everything worked out and it was a PRETTY motel.

Rooms were dirty, not cleaned properly. Other guests were disruptive, kids running through the hallways and up and down stairs. Security was lax, secure doors were left open or didn't close properly. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Restaurant service was slow. Restaurant and lobby were difficult to get to from the room.

I stayed based on advice from a colleague and paid in advance to get the best rate. I asked to upgrade at my expense but was told that was a "lot of trouble". They sent me to a far off building with no view in spite of a practically empty parking lot. Room was ugly and I couldn't find a light switch. Big room, nice bed, nice tub but extremely shabby (gross) carpet. Sink backed up and I can't describe the sewage that came up. They put a large group of girls on my hall so I spent several nights hearing slam, giggle, slam even though there was plenty of availability so they could have put them in their own building. Room service was predictably bad and high priced. Got bitten by little flying bugs (gnats?) one night. Housekeeping was inconsistent - fairly clean but not very tidy. Took me a few days to figure out the thermostat so I didn't freeze or cook. Not sure why, but I did not get 1 night of good sleep though I travel lots and usually sleep soundly after the first night. On the plus side, the back was gorgeous! You'd NEVER guess it from my area, but there was a beautiful garden view of the river with access to the walkway. Much of the staff was very friendly if not incredibly competent or helpful at times.

The room was very clean, the trail along the river was beautiful, and we got a very good night's rest. I would definitely room here again!

Hotel was nice, but older. Location was poor. Not in an area that I would recommend.

Nice, older motel in convenient location. Spread out with several parking lots and room locations. Right on the river, walk to several restaurants via the river trail.

Nice facitlty, great location on a river but strictly buiness clientel only. Check in is 3 pm and we checked in at 4:30 pm. Our "confirmed" river view room was already " given away" according to Day Shift Manger and since she wasn't " a miracle woker" nothing could be done. Since we made the mistake of paying in advance we had to take a normal room at the perferred room price or " find another place of our liking". So much for customer service . Would avoid for any family events or vacations.

While the front desk service was fine and the lobby was very nice, the rooms are completely in need of remodeling. Our room was not ready when we arrived and we were given a suite which was nice of them, but wait. The suite was claustrophobic with only one small window, the wallpaper was peeling, the Jacuzzi had stains and scrapes, the bathroom floor was riddled with cigarette burns, the carpet was filthy, the refrigerator had mold and, well, you certainly would not put food in it. Final opinion: do not stay here until you are told that remodeling has happened. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention that garbage (beer cans, pizza cartons) from huge festivities (frat parties?) was literally falling our of trash cans outside outside the hotel.

Love the location and chance to walk to parks, greenbelt, downtown, etc. Very nice pool and plaza area. Liked being able to go from room right to greenbelt (my room was located on ground floor). The roses were lovely. The clerk at checkout time was very helpful in getting my sisters' boarding pass for her flight.

The Doubletree Hotel Riverside Boise has a great outdoor pool. The hotel is easy to locate and in a good location for getting on and off the highway. The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. The room however wasn't as clean as it should be. There was not a refrigerator in the room.

I was stunned when we arrived at this Double tree hotel. We paid over * for a double queen riverside. we were given a smoking suite. the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the couches are stained and ripped up with the springs stickiing out. decor is dirty and moldy. For the second time only in my life we refused to stay in a room in a hotel, and we travel for a livng! stay away from this place!
