This hotel must have been recently purchased and is being updated. It is not the plush hotel one would expect from the normal Doubletree properties. I feel it is more of a 3 1/2 star location. It is located on a busy street. There is a public golf course across the street. Personnel at the desk were pleasant. The room was OK but reminds me of a Holiday Inn type place that has been updated. Clearly not a first run Doubletree facility layout.

We stayed for 3 nights for a business conference held at the hotel. The hotel is located in the ceter of town, but in a questionable neighborhood and we did not feel safe walking around at night. Our room had been recently remodeled, overlooking the pool courtyard. It was very pretty, especially the bathroom ? floor to ceiling tile, with a sleek design. However, it was incredibly unpractical. There was NO counter space, NO towel bars to hang wet towels, not even a place to hang the toilet paper roll (it sat on a small table in the corner of the bathroom). The shower was an open, walk-in design which was very attractive and also handicap accessible, but half the bathroom floor became a pool of water whenever the shower was used. We would probably not stay there again.

This was the worst hotel experience I cna remember. The rooms were dirty, the staff was unfriendly and not helpful. The rooms were not worth the 144 per night. Maybe 19 would have been more appropriate. DON'T STAY HERE SLEEP ON THE GROUND FIRST!!!

We were there for a wedding over the weekend. We enjoyed the pool during the day on Saturday, but on Friday night, there were so many children in the water that we chose not to go in. I was sorry that the bar was not open in the hotel, but I went to Havalina Cantina to get a drink. It was good. The room was probably the best we have had in the two years we have been together. That includes trips to Oregon and Colorado.

Employees, the warm cookie, convenient restaurant, very clean. Would have liked king size bed. Wanted to use pool area kids in jacuzzi 20 little people. Excellent I loved going with my husband. I was disappointed when we wanted to use the pool, jacuzzi and we counted 20 small children in it. All I could think was the sanitary issues. I want to go back and I will try as I want to golf at Reid Park.

We had a room in the back on the second floor. The room was beautiful and spacious. The beds are big and the linens are clean and crisp. The only problem was that we couldn't find the elevator and had to carry our suitcases up and down. There is also no lighting in the hallway where the soda machine is, so we couldn't see the buttons!

I think this property must have remodeled since the last review, because the bedding is the new Hilton Dreams and it's great! No wi-fi, but free connections in room. Very lively lounge on the weekends. No free breakfast, the menu is a little rich, but the food is fine. Fitness room is quite adequate.

We loved the orange blossom fragrance from all the orange trees. Weather was beautiful, pool was great. Kids loved it.

We were there for a family wedding and about 30 of us stayed at the Doubletree. We had the privacy of our own rooms and the ability to step outside onto our patio, or a few steps to the pool and mingle with family. It could not have been better - the service was excellent; the price was very reasonable; the facility was fine, including two restaurants. Though I'll probably never have a reason to go to Tucson again this set the bar for what we want for future family gatherings.

Nice pool and pool area. Patio rooms were noisy. Nice hotel, very accommodating staff and the pool area was nice and has shade and nice lounge chairs.

The hotel is under renovation, which makes it seem inhospitable. The room was okay, but nothing to write home about. They do, however, give you a warm chocolate chip cookie when you check in.

Clean, friendly. The median on Algernon that did not have a left turn opening. Excellent, highly recommended.

The rooms are nice and comfortable. I liked to stay at the hotel, but we had a problem with the A/C and it never worked well during my stay.

Great beds. Nice Rooms. Fantastic atmosphere. Roach in the shower. Came up through piping. bad experience. but didn't really effect my feelings for the hotel. We were very happy with the amazingly low price we got our room for and the quality of the hotel. We would defiantly stay there again.

Attractive lobby and grounds. Bathroom was not really clean. I had to go to Tucson because my husband was in the hospital there. I was so appreciative of Priceline getting my family and me a motel that was nice and close by. The motel was very nice. The only thing I noticed was that the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was hair on the floor, and the tub had a build up of grime.
