The gym at the hotel was very nice. Overall the hotel was good since it met our needs and location preference. The hotel needed to have a indoor pool/sauna for the benefit of the guest. Me and my family had a pleasant stay at Double tree hotel Druit hills, Atlanta. Location was great, very close to the freeway which lead you to all the local attractions and downtown.

The room was nice - although the room did reek of cigarette smoke - I think they must have a break area for their staff next to the air intake for the A/C. It didn't smell when we got in but after we went out and came back it reeked. Besides that, overall the room was nice the bed was very comfortable and it is located in a great location - close to a lot of Atlanta attractions.

I really like this hotel. It was a little expensive. But it was nice. We had all the rooms in a row so it was fun to be close to everyone in our group. The front desk was very informative and helpful. Check in and out were speedy and accurate. They also have really good directions to popular attractions. It is on a printed sheet that they give you. The only complaint would be the restraunt in the hotel was very expensive(ecspecially the breakfast). They wanted dollars for a buffet breakfast. There is a diner just out of the parking lot(easy walking distance) that was very resonable and accomadating. So it ended up not being a big deal. The diner was open 24hr a day.

The lobby looks great and the breakfast is okay, but if you don't get the room you reserved you are out of luck. My room reeked of smoke and there were sagging stained ceiling tiles around the ventilation system. Mildew and mold in the tub added to the ambiance. I had difficulty breathing the next morning and left as soon as I could. I will not step foot in this Hotel ever again!

Overall, we had a nice stay. Most important, my room was clean, the bed comfy (very comfy), and free internet access in room. No rodents seen. The Doubletree cookies are always what I look forward to! My only problem was the 6th floor. A chain only as strong as its weakest link. The elevator opened to the 6th floor and we were disgusted at its appearance and smell. Thank God we weren't staying on that floor. Not the ritziest hotel, but not the worst either. Moderately chic in appearance when entering lobby - most people's 1st impression.

It was clean, affordable, and comfortable. I loved the plush towels and bedsheets. I loved this hotel. The service, food, and facilities, and location was excellent!

We have stayed a Double Tree previously and liked everything about it. This time we were comfirmed for 2 queen beds nonsmoking. We got a king nonsmoking. Then when we went to take a shower in the AM it did not work. We decided to stay an extra night but got the room at more expensive rate even though the clerk said it was cheaper. My husband made the arrangements and I didn't realize it until we got home.

Location and free parking. Very dirty rooms - very smelly rooms. When we arrived (near midnight) the main doors were not working and a very rude woman checked us in. The lobby was all torn apart and in disarray. We hoped for better with our room, however, the room smelled of dirty the time I opened the door. My daughter found her bed sheets questionable as to their cleanliness, so I had her sleep with me in the other bed. The glasses near the coffee maker were definitely used. We chose to use the paper cups provided near the coffee maker. The whole room was just felt dirty at that point not a 3 star hotel at all!

We've stayed here twice now and will go back again. just as good (or better) experience that the flashy places and you can't beat the price or location.
