This was a perfect stop for a quick overnight to attend a party for an old friend. We were warmly welcomed with the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever tasted! The room was clean, nicely furnished with just enough towels for the two of us. Soaps, lotion, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner were provided. Complimentary breakfast would have been appreciated but there was a restaurant right next door. The king bed in our handicap room had an abundance of pillows and special doorbell for hearing impaired. The large, handicap equipped bathroom was large and well appointed.

Rooms were clean. We were on a no smoking floor, but could smell people smoking. he staff was very helpful and very pleasent, the pool and gym were excellent.

the hotel was ideal for my family getaway. it's location is perfect it is in the nuecleus of everything just minutes away from the memorial auditorium, and also minutes from a huge mall and great eateries.

When you check in you get a complimentary fresh baked cookie, I've never experienced that before. My experience was great. The beds are super comfortable; each bed had four large fluffy pillows on them. The carpet was ugly but very clean. The shower had the extension curtain rod, the type that bows out to give you more room. They slip your express check out under your door so you don't even have to visit the front desk if you don't want to. The hotel restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, but there are plenty of places to eat right next to the hotel. We went to an event at the Greensboro Coliseum and we had no trouble finding it because its only five lights up from the hotel (about 2 miles). After 10:00 pm the front door of the hotel locks and you must have your room key to get in, that's a neat little safety measure. All in all I've no complaints.

The Doubletree in Greensboro has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Linens and towels were wonderfully soft as well. Overall, the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel itself was undergoing renovations and seemed a bit sparse for decorations. We only had breakfast at the attached grill---coffee was good. The neighborhood seemed questionable, the quick mart next door had the cashier behind 2 plexiglass. That, coupled with the murders on the nightly news, made me uneasy while there. But the beds were great.
