The beds were very comfortable. Front desk was disorganized and not extremely helpful. The hotel was OK. Not up to what I would expect from Hilton. Staff could have been more helpful.

First, I could not find the place. Down one-way streets that never connect, hard to tell it is there until you pass it by and have to drive all over town to get back on that one way street again. I didn't expect valet parking so my mail was on one of the car seats. When I came to get my car lined up with several others at the curb, my mail was opened and a new credit card missing. Staff claimed anyone could have stolen the card and opened the rest of my mail while my car sat at the curb for several minutes, unattended and unlocked. I will never stay here again. I had to cancel all my cards and keep watch of my credit.

Outside of the hotel looks average or worse. But inside is very nice. Our room had a couple of problems (missing a shower head and light in bathroom was out), but the hotel changed our room within minutes. All in all a very nice hotel. Nice location, a short drive from all of the downtown historic attractions.

Great airport hotel and the staff was friendly and attentive. The room was fine for a airport hotel. My only gripe was the bathroom..it felt really cheap, and probably could us a bit of an update. The shower needs a complete overhaul.

Comfortable beds, nice toiletries, friendly staff. Elevators, hallways aren't as clean as they should be and the bathrooms are old, not dirty but need maintenance.

The carpet was old, fairly worn and stained in parts; the bed was a bit too soft. Room heater was noisy. Promised parking included... declined valet parking and fee. Not enough electric plugs in room--bedside lamps were plugged in with long extension cord and power strip running under the bed. One bedside lamp was unplugged and involved crawling and stretching under bed (yuck!), other lamp had burned out bulb. A supposedly renovated hotel needed that still needs improvement. Quiet room though.

Clean, upscale, great location to night life. Overall a very nice upscale hotel close to the nightlife. Very clean and modern. No complaints here.

If it isnt a short trip, do not book it at the Doubletree. Parking is expensive, especially because its valet. Room service and the hotel restaurant are repeatedly nonresponsive. Room service is supposed to start at 6:30 am, and we couldnt reach room service or even the front desk until 8 am. Almost none of the soda machines or snack machines had any products in it. Our room felt humid the entire time. Getting a maid to clean your room daily is difficult. However, the beds are comfy and there is free wireless internet.

"The room was great. The bed was very comfortable. However, the hotel is under heavy construction in lobby and on most other floors. No ice or snacks. Parking was the worst part. It was valet only and the valet stand closes at 11 every night. This left us looking for street parking....and paying a hefty parking ticket."

The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to accomodate me and my children. There is nothing to tell. The doubletree in downtown richmond provides upscale service with the coziness of home.

Decor was nice. Small room, the small frig looked like it had been taken out of the shabby apts next door. Nice decor, still a few shabby old things showing though. has only valet parking for $16 a night. Staff was good, convenient coffee shop in the lobby.

"The hotel room was not in the greatest shape. There was evidence of recent water damage in the room and also painting. The cleanup from both of these issues was sloppy and so the room was not visually appealing. The floor was lumpy and the carpet seemed overly worn. I think that Radisson is due for an upgrade soon. On the plus side, the bed were comfy and the towels plentiful and the room air circulation was great."

"The hotel is nice with nice staff. Parking is limited by poorly placed support columns. Make sure to visit the drug store first, because the front desk was no help with supplies. I didn't bother with the restaurant -- I prefer free continental breakfast."

Great price for the product. Bathrooms were closet size but lovely and adequate. It looked newly updated. Bedding was very comfortable but the walls were thin and you could hear everything your neighbor did. So I wouldn't take a family there. I didn't recommend this hotel for tall people, since the ceilings seemed low. Bathroom was claustrophobic small but good for one person. Room service breakfast portion was huge, hot, and delivered on time. It could have been shared by 2 people. Valet parking was a hefty $16.
