From the minute we arrived, the service desk staff was interested in what we had planned, could they help us plan anything or find any location, warm chocolate chip cookies and warm smiles. We loved the room, the pool was perfect to relax. Parking was very close. Rooms VERY clean. Restaurant staff warmed things up for me when I needed them, after having my gastric bypass surgery. They were just fantastic to us.

Stayed New Year's Eve and it was disappointing, overall. While the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, the bath/shower fixtures needed replaced and were difficult to operate, the tub did not drain, and the toilet ran excessively. The room was stifling warm, even with the thermostat turned off. We slept with the window open all night and the 20 degree air from outside made it only tolerable inside. The hotel was full, so the next morning the manager offered a free breakfast, but we could not stay. My guess is that this room was for one-night guests ... complaints walk out the door the next morning and they don't have to fix the problems. I would not spend this kind of money to stay here, again.

We had a family function to attend and stayed at the DT while in Omaha. It turned out very well for our family with the double queen rooms, most of the area hotels seem to have double doubles rather than queens. The beds were extra soft. My children really enjoyed the view from our room even though it wasnt very scenic. They liked being up in the air in comparison to other places we've recently stayed at. The cookie at checkin was warm and started the visit off pretty well not to mention it was one of the fastest checkins I've had this year.

My husband and I just wanted a few days away and this was a great hotel for us! Our room was always clean and there was a pool and game room for fun. They seemed a little short-staffed at check-in but the staff was very friendly. This hotel is only about 6 blocks from the Old Market- shops, food, etc. I would stay again!

We normally sleep on Sleep Number Beds, so have a difficult time staying at most hotels. However, the beds at this hotel were WONDERFUL. Slept so well. They also have a shuttle service that took us down to the Holland Performing Center for a concert....free of charge! Parking is in a secure garage at no extra expense. Breakfast is not free, however, the breakfast buffet was reasonable, and had fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, etc. When we checked in, they offered us fresh, chewy, chocolate chip cookies! Everything was very clean and quiet....even with a full hotel. Did not use the pool. It's on the 4th floor, so it's rather small. No hot tub available.

My husband surprised me with some quality romantic time. Here I thought we were going on a business trip but he had prearranged a romantic DoubleTree stay and was able to have staff accomodate his surprise. Champagne and All! We've been to this hotel before but it has a whole new touch! We prefer to stay downtown in Omaha in order to spend time in the Old Market if there is any. This weekend we were given excellent restaurant and activity ideas from the Front Desk. Worked out with brand new excercise equipment and nice tvs to make the time go by. The restaurant on site did a wonderful job with our meals as well. Room service was extremely quick. The beds are soooo comfortable!!! I almost turned down a night on the town to relax in the atmosphere provided in our room. It was excellent!

Decent place to stay for college world series. Will be better when they move the stadium downtown in two years. But also noisy late at night because of crowds in town. The bed was awesome, very relaxing. About what you'd expect from a DoubleTree, a little expensive though for Omaha.

Clean, comfortable beds, attractive decor. Lighting in the rooms, especially bathroom was bad (ie. for putting on make up) and no full length mirror. We liked the decor, the friendly staff, the comfortable beds. My only disappointment was that there was no full length mirror, the lighting in the bathroom and the room was not adequate for getting ready for a dressy event.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. It is the epitome of cleanliness. The rooms smell like jasmine and the artistry is so stunning it would leave monet yearning for more. I cannot find words to describe how impressed I was with this magnificent dwelling place. With thanks, from the bottom of my heart.

This place should cost half of what I paid. The rooms, The floor, bathroom and shower were dirty. There was a empty tissue box that was not replaced, I could go on! It was a wast of money and I will never be back.

The inside of this place is pretty old, like 70s kind of feel and not good 70s. Staff was very prompt as they brought me a new ironing board at 2:30AM in about 3 minutes. The bathroom especially felt old with the harsh lighting and cramped shower. Overall, I wouldn't want to stay here again -- there's too many better options.

I was in Omaha to graduate from UNO and the Doubletree was two blocks from the civic auditorium--we walked to commencement. Hotel security needs to walk the halls after midnight to manage noisy children. Other than that, the service was excellent, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the Wolfgang Puc coffee in the rooms was excellent and the cookies are outstanding.

Room service staff was very friendly also liked the cookies on check in. No acces to hotel from parking ramp without going down to ground floor.

I wished I would have stayed in our other hotel for our trip. My wife and I came down to look at my graduate school and apts., and it was going to be our summer vacation, so I wanted to stay in a nice place. We stayed two nights elsewhere, and I thought it would be fun to stay at a, nice, fancy hotel in downtown. I totally regret it. It's not the place for a small, young family, if you want general conveniences. No cont. breakfast was a bummer. You had to pay $10 a day for the internet, unless you want to go all the way down to the lounge. They seemed to charge for everything. You had to pay to park too. They seem to think everything is great if they give you a cookie. Neither of us even liked it. customer service was not good. The bed was very comfy, and had a great view, but I was constantly worried I'd get charged for the smallest thing. To make our stay even worse, when we checked out and left, we gave the parking papers to the gate lady, and she was talking on her cell phone with her feet up where we could see them, and it seemed like she was home rather than working for a "classy" hotel.

I was very disappointed. This hotel needs a lot of updating. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the rest of the room felt dirty, maybe because it is an older hotel. My parents said it used to be the Red Lion. I've stayed at other Doubletrees before, and they are usually nice hotels. The rate is also a Doubletree rate, but does not match what you expect of a usual Doubletree.
