The Doubletree is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. My family and I went to Denver for Pride Fest which was located downtown. The location of the hotel was 10 minutes away it made the trip so easy. The staff was awesome they really cared about how our stay was. The rooms were so clean and very good repair. I didn't see any weird stains on the carpet or in the bathroom. The only thing that would have given the place five stars is if breakfast was free. The restaurant is very good but $14.25 for the breakfast buffet was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. The lady working in the gift store ignored us the whole time we were in the store because she was on the phone. Very poor customer service! I enjoyed my stay and the room was very nice. The pool was very big and the hot tub in a great spot. I would come back to this hotel.

The hotel building was very nice and clean. The room was wonderful and very comfortable, and had a spectacular view of the mountains and skyscrapers in downtown Denver. Also, the room service was great. However, the staff was not able to answer one question about how to get anywhere, besides going by taxi. We did not find out that the city bus came right by the hotel until the last day we were there, because we happened to see the bus go by when we looked out our hotel window. We spent around $100 for taxis when we could've taken the city bus for $2 a person, making it only about $20 total we should've spent. I am very disappointed that the hotel staff did not inform us about how easy it was to catch the bus and that they didn't tell us the cheapest way to get around. I won't be staying at this hotel, in particular, again.

Stayed here for a conference that was actually being held at the downtown Hyatt. The Hyatt apparently had issues with their fire alrams and many conference participants were forced out of their rooms in the wee hours of the morning - not at the Doubletree! Staff was friendly, breakfast buffet a bit overpriced at about 14/person, very handy to have a Starbucks on site, indoor pool and free business center with two computers, lobby is wireless and room rate for internet access is 10 from 12pm to 12pm. Room was very clean, service excellent, complimentary Neutrogena products in bathroom, good parking (both covered and not covered). The only complaint was the location - be sure you know how to get where you want to go with the numerous one way streets. Plenty of restaurants in area as well as high scale shopping - we saw many members of the airport flight crew checking in - a good sign! A very positive experience and not too far away from the downtown area, 15-20 min via main drag COLFAX.

My husband and I went to a wedding not too far from Denver and then drove back for the remaining two nights of our vacation time. The hotel was nice, but we requested the $25 meal voucher and were told no problem, but it wasn't applied or given to us without some hassle at check out. Otherwise, the staff were friendly to us. Also, no complimentary breakfast. It is funny that at less expensive hotels breakfast is free, but at "nicer" ones there is a cost. We were not unsatisfied with our trip, but could have been happier.

It was clean and well-designed. Loved the warm cookies! Lost our breakfast order - delayed 15 to 20 minutes. The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable, and well-designed. The staff was very courteous and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. We were there over a weekend and a large group of softball players were staying there...had no disruptions. Note, refrigerators are available upon request only. Chocolate chip cookies are to die for;)

Great location, right off I-70. Easy access to local attractions, the airport and the mountains! Doubletree always offers top notch service and accommodations, and those warm chocolate chip cookies at registration are great!!

It was nice. The sleep number bed was terrible. Wonderful location with lots of amenities. Did not care for the sleep number bed! Very uncomfortable.

Very nice hotel, though 2 double bed rooms were smallish. Hotel shuttle to area shopping, but not to downtown . However, there's a park&ride close by, Avis in the hotel. Outdoor jacuzzi/indoor pool, fitness room well maintained. Staff friendly, helpful. *a night was a bit steep for our budget - luckily a business expense. Noise was never a problem in our room. The travel agent booked us into a smoking room (no idea how this happened and we did NOT request it), but the hotel fixed it right away.Great cookies upon check- in.

The hotel say was so wonderful until we tried to stay extra nights, but unfortunately we had to hurry home. The staff was excellent and did all to see that we had no needs. We went all over Denver and all into the mountains, we shopped and ate and just had alot of fun. The only bad things with our trip was coming home, (OUR AIRPORT EXPERIENCE.) It was a total nightmare. I never want to go to that airport and airline again and will not refer anyone to it ever.

It's location. It did not stand up to the expectations given. We did not have the option of getting a two room suite at the time or reservation. When we asked for one they said upgrade per night. And it also said there was a complimentary beverage center, which was also untrue.

Nice and clean standard double room.Firm new beds.Daily towel changes.Pet friendly.2nd visit also stayed in a standard double. The room was very different than my 1st visit. This one looks older.Nevertheless, it's still clean & neat. They might slowly renovating the rooms.Used the Internet service (with a fee) in the room & no trouble at all.Free outdoor parking.Checking out the 2nd time was rather slow because there was only 1 receptionist and lots of people checking out.Near a shopping area (Wal-Mart, Target) if you ever needed to buy essentials.

This very special get away went sour immediately when [...] informed us that they did not have any record we selected a room with a king size bed- which was displayed on my receipt. The hotel was booked to full capacity so we had no choice but to take a room with 2 double beds!!!!!! Due to this incidence I am not sure I would book with Ortiz again.

The Hotel had a very comfortable atmosphere as long as you didn't have to request anything from the staff. The front desk and customer service were very rude when you asked them questions about transportation. You can not get a shuttle to the Invesco Field. The transporation to downtown runs only every 2 hours and they never mentioned an early shuttle for the game even though I asked about it twice. They told me the first shuttle left at 1pm. When there was one at 11am to downtown.

Our stay was great for the little time that we did spend in the hotel. We were there for a baseball game and just to explore the city so there wasn't much time spend in the hotel.

The Doubletree was excellent in every way. The room was very comfortable, the front desk staff was most helpful and the amenities--fitness center, pool, business center were top notch. The only issue I had was parking due to a large convention being held at the same time. I will stay at the Doubletree on my return trip to Denver
