I all I got for the pool being closed was 2 cookies.

Beautiful room, easy to find and access, kids stay free and delicious chocolate chip cookies at check in. Our room was right over the kitchen, so when we had the window open we could always smell food. Freeway noise depending on room location. l We were very pleased. It completely exceeded our expectations. It was a very nice facility with comfortable beds, spacious room and nice extras such as fluffy towels, great coffee and extra pillows.

Greatest stay ever! It was located in great spot. It is located 10 minutes away from San Diego Sea World. I would stay there again.

Attending a wedding, also the air condition worked sometime. The Bed was so uncomfortable that I felt like I was falling out the entire night. I had to put a pillow under the mattress to level it out.

"This is not what I expected from this type of hotel. Our room sink was clogged and did not clean up after the problem was corrected, our rooms were not made up when we arrived back after 5:30 pm and did not apologize but rather gave us an attitude. I asked for clean set of towels instead but took 40 minutes instead of the 10 minutes they promised. I waited 5 minutes for 3 hotel clerks to listen to 1 customer in front of me before they responded to my presence. I will spread the word to others who travels in that area to avoid this hotel."

Hotel was nice, but two things stuck out to me - first, the shower didn't work very well in the morning. The hotel front desk called up to see if we could let their technician take a look at it (we didn't call them, they called us) and the guy came in, took one look, and left. When we were checking out, we weren't offered any discount for the trouble or the non-really working shower. The second thing is that, like most places, if you are young, they don't pay much attention to you and gravitate toward the older people before they serve you. Annoying.

Can't beat the price. No wireless internet in the rooms and internet was $10 a day. Great price, perfect location for my needs clean lobby. Room a little small, but it had a queen bed and a pullout couch. Wish they had free Internet and wireless in the rooms.

We were very pleased with the room size and the comfortable beds. The hotel staff was very accomodating, and extremely helpful when we had questions about the surrounding areas. We had some trouble with the internet connections. The location of the hotel is a bit tricky if you arrive in the dark. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, and would like to revisit it ourselves.

The fresh chocolate chip cookies as we checked in. Sliding door to bathroom. The staff was friendly and there were fresh apples on the counter which was delicious. The workout room was well equipped.

The cookies when checking in. Not enough towels at the pool. Hotel staff was more than accommodating. The food served at the restaurant was good except for a fluke shrimp salad gone bad.The beds were very comfortable. All the feel of an upscale hotel without the snootiness.

The pool and hot tub area were excellent. Our room had strange holes in the carpet and overlooked the HAVOC system. The Doubletree Del Mar is a nice place to stay. It's centrally located in that many of the beaches are a short drive down I-5 and there's a market center just down the street with a Vons and Starbucks. The rooms were clean and quiet, and it has a nice restaurant/bar area. The pool area is great.

The staff was very helpful, the business center was very handy. Great we really enjoyed our stay the workout room was great, pool and hot tub were great. Staff was very helpful, cookies delicious, business center with internet great, etc. Great place to stay.
