Beautiful bedding, bathroom and furnishings. Pillows, while plentiful, were too soft and microwave too low. This hotel needs a welcome book that details the hotel and its services, what is free what is not (like breakfast). Some pillows need to be a little firmer. The microwave was so low to the ground it was a toy for our 2 year old. The valet was exceptional and very helpful. Hurry with the renovations, we were counting on a pool and did not have one.

Listed on Travelocity as a good hotel, but it was better than that. The hotel was very clean and very nice staff.

It seemed that everything in our room was too big for the space. The nightstands were turned sideways because they would not fit turned the correct direction. The bed was against the air conditioning unit with no space to walk between the two. There was no room to walk past the end of the sofabed when it was open. The bathroom door would not open fully because it kept hitting the end of the toilet. Despite these factors the room was clean and smoke-free as promised. It was close to the attractions we visited. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. I looked into a few other rooms on our floor while the maids were cleaning and noticed those rooms looked normal. The bathroom doors opened fully and the furniture was all turned the right direction. Maybe items in our bathroom had been repaired and new items were installed that were the incorrect size. Maybe the bed should have been a queen not a king. It wasn't bad for one night, but if we had stayed longer, I would have requested a different room for my family of 5.

Rooms and most of hotel remodeled. Remodeling in progress room. No freebies here, no complimentary continental breakfast here, you need to pay for parking if you drive.

I took a chance on this one for a business trip and it is a truly beautiful hotel. They have all of the things you want, and everything appears to be brand new - right down to the Wolfgang Puck coffee maker and coffee. I still can't believe the price for such a wonderful place! I will be going here for all future trips to Chattanooga. The only *tiny complaint I have is, they charge you 7.00 to park in their open lot - 8.00 for valet.

Hotel was under renovations so the outside appearance could have been better. The rooms were nice. Great water pressure in the shower. Couldn't ask for a nicer staff. Can't wait till the renovations are done, the hotel will be super nice then.

This hotel was WONDERFUL!!!!!! The hotel staff was so curtious and helpful, from the valet person, front desk, maids, just everyone that works there. I suggest this hotel to everyone. It was convenient to alot of dining establishments. It was just wonderful!!

It was a clean newly remodeled hotel. The room we stayed in was too small for the large chair and ottoman to be in there also the LCD TV should be hung on the wall. Overall the hotel was a convenient location to every thing in town. It was clean and nicely remodeled the room was a bit cramped for the size it was with the furniture in it.

The hotel is under renovations so things were a little messy. The staff made up for the mess with their ""super"" helpful and friendly attitudes.

The staff was friendly and prompt, there was an internet computer in the lobby which was excellent for reference, and they offer valet service. The restaurant was closed for remodeling, and the parking was on the opposite side of the building from the entrance. The clarion is undergoing renovations and there is extensive construction work outside the hotel. The older rooms have the firm beds, window AC units, and have the space of a motel room. The coffee cups are restaurant grade ceramic mugs as well as glass drinking glasses. The hotel is trying to be green with the reusable glassware and towel policy of asking guests to reuse clean towels. The little touches are upscale where as the basics such as TV, lighting, and beds are still a bit on the economy side.

If you want to stay, and play in the hotel you choose, then this is not the one at this time. They are under renovations and offer very little but the basic essentials. Beds were hard, carpet and ceilings were stained, comforters were old and worn, but the water pressure was great for shower. The staff was awesome! Great location if your wanting to be close, and occupied, by the downtown attractions.

The staff was wonderful. It is going through a major renovation. This hotel is currently being renovated but can be considered a good value. Located in downtown Chattanooga, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant and fitness facility are currently not open.

It isn't possible to give a fair evaluation of this facility as it is under extensive renovations. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. We would like to stay again after renovations are complete.

Location. Under renovation. Wonderful location. Rates good. Staff at the front desk friendly. However, the cleaning staff I encountered wasn't so friendly (maybe having a bad day). I believe that after the renovation it will be a very nice hotel.

Location to downtown. Rooms were dirty & musty, parking is inconvenient. Upon check in I was put in a smoking room, which I did not request. I asked to be moved to another room & was checked into a room that was already occupied by another guest. When I did finally get my room the sheets were dirty & the room was very muggy. The hotel was also undergoing major construction. This was extremely inconvenient as there were always construction workers using the elevators, and tracking dirt & drywall through the building. Not to mention waking up to the banging of hammers. Lastly, the parking lot was around the back of the hotel and the walkways were blocked by dumpsters.

Close to all the attractions. No ice machine was working on any floor. Plaster in the bathroom was coming off.
